[b]Elkris, the Passive[/b] - A Hive knight who was trapped inside of a vault in a sunken ship on Titan. With nothing else there to kill, his worm should have devoured him long ago, but it never happened. Over time his violent urges and thoughts went quiet, and his now empty mind could finally listen. He meditated, he listened, and learned. As the months and years went by, he found he could detect movement around the ship from the vibrations in its metal frame. Guardians are searching the ship for a long lost weapon they hope to use to clear out the Hive. They open the vault to retrieve it from inside and find Elkris. Unlike the other Hive, he does not immediately reach for his weapon and start shooting. He merely sits in the center of the room, watching them. He explains to the guardians the symbiosis between his kind and the worms, how they feared death and host the worms in exchange for immortality. How the worms influence their nature and thoughts, and how their lives are forfeit if they attempt to resist. He describes it as a curse, though he acknowledges that not all of his kind see it that way. He is free of the curse, though he does not understand how. He offers his assistance to the guardians, and in exchange asks that they attempt to free the rest of his kind from the worms.
