Please Fix the Jumping Mechanics!

I don't know if Bungie reads these, but I couldn't find a forum for suggestions. If anyone knows the best way to post requests, please let me know. I always found the jump mechanics in this game annoying, but the recent quest to get a fragment from the top of the peak in Iron Tower area really puts the jumping mechanics in the forefront. My concerns with the jumping mechanics are: 1) Every game I've ever played allowed one to press against a mountain or a wall in order to stay as close to it as possible. This game, it causes some sort of chest bump that forces my character backwards away from the wall, even if I jumped straight up without running or walking, but pressed against the wall after jumping. 2) Sometimes the 3rd person camera is so close, I can't see where I am or what I am doing. 3) There is no ability to grip with your character's hands when climbing. 4) The double jump ability is turned off in the social areas. I can understand turning off double jump when it's probably the easiest way to prevent players from getting to areas they shouldn't. I can also understand not having the ability to grip like in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided because when not in social areas, our character's hands are full. And, sometimes cameras can't do everything we want when sandwiched against a wall. But, I think removing the chest bump mechanics illustrated in #1 makes up for the other 3. If you could, please adjust this. Thanks!

I've gone to the top several times but yes I agree the jumping mechanics Need work. the character glides in the air way too long like he's a feather. Also the characters shoes feels Iike it's been made out of a bar of soap everything is slippery even and dry like environment like Mars -increase grip -add 15% more weight to the characters -make each surface feel different(ice, water, sand, solid ground)

    • This is one of the fundamental problems I've always had with Destiny. The player-environment collision physics are awful. You just bounce and slide all over the place. Not fun when you're running for cover and you bump your toe on a rock and pop straight up in the air, practically floating for whole seconds while you get hit with all the splash damage in the world.
