Extra Life + Destiny
Hey fellow guardians. I assume most of you don't know what Extra Life is but in a nutshell its a charity that supports local Children's Miracle Network hospitals. People game for 24 hours straight raising money. It was founded in 2008 and since then they have raised $22MM for kids in need.
Over the past 2 years, I have seen the community getting very involved in several fundraisers including Extra Life. 2 years ago was actually when i found out about this great initiative and I am going again for year number 3.
The actual Extra Life event is November 5th at 8am EST and, just like the first 2 years, i will be playing Destiny for 24 hours.
Rise Of Iron is coming out and by the time November comes I have a feeling i will be deep into questing and raiding (maybe i will even go for my flawless raider).

We are finally here. Week of!!!! Gamathoners around the world are going to be participating in Extra Life on November 5th. Finally set up a "professional" look to the stream so feel free to stop by and watch me go overboard on RedBulls. Stream starts at 7am CST Maybe 25 hours will be enough for me to finally get flawless raider on Crota....

Another bump. Keep this topic alive guardians. Kids need our help and everyone wins with this fundraiser. We get to play Destiny uninterrupted for 24 hours and children's hospitals receive vital funds to keep helping kids.

1 ReplyIt's a great thing that you are doing. Children's Miracle Network covered the expenses that saved my son's life 7 years ago. Nothing but respect dude for having a cause and getting the word out for such a great program.
