Exotic specials as primaries, what about the other way around

So with NLB and UR we got specials as primaries, and with Sleeper we got a special class as a heavy. Doubtful it will happen in ROI, but I would like to see some crazy exotic specials derived from either primaries or heavies. Like a special hand cannon, that would have a elemental burn type, and lots of range but only three bullets in the mag. Maybe a heavy as a primary would not be that great, but maybe a special, like a limited ammo grenade launcher. Just a thought, wondering if anyone else had considered this? Edit- Wow, didn't think this post would get so much traction! Well at least till the update notes came out. Some of these ideas are crazy, but maybe a variation of an idea will make it to D2. Looks like the special hand cannon wasn't to far off, considering the Trespasser Exotic that is appearing in the game already. Oh and a primary rocket launcher probably isn't ever going to be in the cards.

    I want a heavy handcannon every time you fire it the kick points you at the ceiling but it hits like a semi into a hatchback. Call it the Stargazer "The stars look nice tonight"

      • Lord of wolves=super short range pulse, sidearms=handcannons, snipers=scout rifles with longer scopes and bigger damage. Auto rifles=uhhhh... Fusions?

      • I want a special rocket launcher that id essentially a gernade launcher. Like way less slash damage and over all damage and requires an arc to aim, but deals pretty good damage as a special weapon

          So far the best ideas I got: Heavy slot: "Arc" heavy Sniper(comparable to a 50 cal.) Special slot: Grenade launcher (very likely IMO) Primary2special: Auto rifle type like a SAW. Squad support weapon , w/ medium Clip/Mag squad support weapon low/MOD damage I really want a SAW. Not as much impact as heavy MG but better than AR. Also consider a SMG.. Gets me excited just thinking about the fun to be had.

            • Did a hand cannon a long time ago. It would act like a sniper rifle, but would 3 shot body shot people instead of 2, but would have more handling and mobility.

              • Well, according to the ViDoc, there is a pulse rifle with wolfpack rounds. Pretty sure that will be nerfed to nothing within a week of release due to the pvp and streamer community.

                    • I want the crazy hand cannon that the hunter was using in the "Law of the Jungle" trailer. The one that acted like Golden Gun, with Keyhole and Combustion, but that fired at least six shots and reloaded and handled like a regular hand cannon and not a super ability. He switched to it from his auto rifle, shot a handful of Cabal Phalanxes [b][i][u]through[/u][/i][/b] their shields, turned to face the Colossus behind the fireteam, and reloaded.
