Cabal Theories:

Hello! Have you ever wondered what a Cabal Firebase or Fleetbase could have? No? Then I'm not normal. But anyway, today I took a good look at Fleetbase Korus and Firebase Rubicon on Mars. First, I'll start off with Cabal Structures! Structures: Fleetbase Korus, Phobos - Rising and Lowering Platforms for transporting heavy objects, like Harvesters, Interceptors, and Goliath Tanks outside and inside - A large amount of fuel tanks and fuel ports for Harvesters and the big ships, which I will label Chariots - Chariot ports for mass export/import, conquest, troop transport - Armory, complete with Phalanx Shields and Slug Rifle - Cabal Cooling liquid used for keeping Cabal enforcements living (black goo), presumable also held in canisters - Turrets for aerial defense and offense - Ventilation - Main towers, assumed for communication with the Cabal Empire and homeland - Terminals for examination of assets across Phobos and around Phobos's Atmosphere Firebase Rubicon (and most of Mars): - Mining Drill for excavation of natural resources for construction of assets - Reception tower with radio for long-distance calls - Multiple underground tunnels, most-likely connected to Firebase Rubicon - Vex Confluence hooked up to Cabal tubes and pipes, probably being tapped of its power - Cabal redeployment center with resupply/redeploy codes - Small base for Blind Legion meet-up - Freehold City captured by Cabal Forces at the beginning of the Dark Age - Land Tank "Cerberus Vae III", protecting Valus Ta'aurc, now terminated - antennae for connecting to short-distance receptions - Cabal Flayers deployed to try to tap into something on Mars, unsure what of as if this moment Dantalion Exodus VI, Dreadnaught - Supply crates, probably extra Slug Rifles and rockets for ammo - Machines made for sweeping areas of unwanted trash - Goliath Tank storage in case of need of heavy firepower - Map of the Dreadnaught - More asset tablets - High-powered generators/engines - Main navigational hull for transport (if it was still in the air) - Map of Dantalion Exodus VI with pointer on where you are - Access to the Narthex, or Dreadnaught Core - Map of Saturn Theories: The Cabal know they're weak. They've lost almost all leading commanders in the system. They are currently trying to tap into the Vex's power, as detailed by the picture here. They may also be trying the Vex on Mercury, see Crucible Map: Vertigo. The Psion Flayers are holding Phobos from its natural orbit, waiting to use it as a weapon. The card "Psion Flayers" helps secure this theory. These Psions have an immense amount of telepathic powers, even more so than a normal Psion. If the worst became reality, the Cabal would have no problem with dropping it, seeing as they destroy planets for getting in their way. The Cabal know something they need is here. This theory is why I think they haven't completely decimated Mars yet. Either they've been chasing the Vex for milennia or... The Cabal are running away. It could be Oryx, after all the Taken did cause these percentages to drop in soldiers. That's all I have for today. Hope you enjoyed!

 • Their main purpose on Mars and Mercury is to secure Vex tech, and Golden Age human tech. That's the entire reason they move into Freehold. They also look to gain the tech to eliminate Ghosts by capturing Hive leadership on the Dreadnaught. It is unknown why they search for these technologies, but the speculation is that they are retreating from the Hive.
