Nope! Bad idea! Reforging allows you to god roll every weapon you own, thus removing the value of a good drop. If you think snipers or shotties are op now, wait until rerolling is allowed!

Yeah, considering the abysmal drop rate, it's either reforge or increase drop. But nope, Bungie chose neither.

I couldn't care less what people kill me with. Skill shouldn't be luck based or better weapons gaining luck based perks on rolls. I want customization options. Grinding has killed destiny for me.

Destiny 5 will be out by the time I get the right rolls on my weapons. Good players will always make use of weapons regardless of the perks. They'll be deadly with guns with good perks. But with reforming even the less skilled will have good guns too. It'll be balanced I think. That's one downside to destiny I don't like and that's grinding for the same weapon to get the right perks. It takes a long time to just get the weapon to drop. I have 3 red spectres and 1 has decent perks. The rest are crap. I had 2 eyaslunas and 2 imago loops. I deleted 1 of each and kept the ones with the better perks, but I don't use them that much though

Bump - I have spent hours trying to get a party crasher / red specter. I have had so many drop by EVERY one is straight up garbage

There's going to be RNG for the reforge too so I don't understand the big deal of not having it. If somebody can be on the game 24/7 to grind for these weapons then they'll have a better chance of getting better weapons with better perks. It's too much of a grind for somebody like me. I work all week but I spend a couple of hours on destiny a day. It's not that much. It's going to cost some materials and glimmer too. So that's RNG plus at the expense of any armor or planetary materials. I'd say its worth it though.

I ground the game so hard to find a party crasher or grasp of malok with good perks. Hours wasted on weapons that will never drop...... And when they do drop with double random perks. Great for a while - but keep me coming back? Nope
