Trouble with Golgoroth?

It is a well known fact that the raid boss, Golgoroth has about a trillion health points. Many a raid team has hurled every offensive measure at their disposal at him, only to have it barely scratch the surface. If you have experienced this, and cannot seem to find a way around it then read on Guardian! This certainly is not the only way to beat Golgoroth, and a better way might be possible. But it certainly is a great way to handle the overwhelming health that the boss enjoys. You will need two Titans in your raid team: one Defender and one Sunbreaker. Both of them rigged with damage multiplication builds, and both of them will need to be in the pit when it comes time to damage Golgoroth. The Defender will be boasting the tried and true Weapon of Light build, with Weapon of Light, Illuminated, Bastion, and the hardest hitting weapon he's got (ideally the Black Spindle or Touch of Malice). The Sunbreaker will add to this with a damage boosting build of his own: Melting Point, Simmering Flames, the Monte Carlo, and Insurmountable Skullfort. Now, don't let the Monte Carlo's small damage discourage you -this build will contribute more to the overall DPS than any other component. Rather than damaging Golgoroth directly, the Monte Carlo allows for near constant presence of the Melting Point debuff on the boss. The Defender drops his bubble in an intelligent location, and the Sunbreaker melees Golgoroth, activating the Melting Point on him. The Sunbreaker then hoses the boss with the Monty Carlo which will bring back his melee ability in an incredibly short time -less then two magazines, about ten seconds. As soon as the first Melting Point debuff expires, he uses the Skullfort's second charge to apply it again. And once that one expires, he uses the Monte Carlo's ability to apply it again. The remaining guardians in the pit with Golgoroth are simply sporting the heaviest hitting weapons that they can lift (again, Black Spindle or Touch of Malice are ideal), and they just unleash all of the damage they can. The Defender's WoL adds a 35% damage boost to the fireteam, and the Sunbreaker adds 50%. However these percentages are not added together, but instead multiply the damage individually. When the two buffs are combined, each guardian in the fireteam hits with 100% additional damage. In other words, a guardian hits as hard a 2 guardians. And if there are four guys in the pit receiving the WoL buff, then the damage Golgoroth suffers is equal to the DPS that 8 guardians could normally inflict. If those 4 guys all have the Touch of Malice, which hits for double damage on its own, then that total is doubled again, making those 4 guys equal to 16 people! This is all before the buff from the Pool of Reclaimed Light, which increases the DPS still further. When its all added together, the Raid team can hurl breathtaking amounts of damage against Golgoroth. Note: The Nightstalker's Shadowshot ability is the same type of buff as the Melting Point and will cancel it out (as it is a super). It lasts longer, but is a weaker buff, so don't use it when the Melting Point is active. Doing so will reduce the overall DPS of the fireteam.
