Titan trolls during strikes
[b]How is Bungie going to deal with people who use their character's supers/attacks, to troll others.[/b]
E.g. titans who continuously drop their bubbles in places that keep the rest of the team from attacking mobs, shoulder charge others off rocks or run their sparrows into them to kill them on purpose, so you lose all progress you may have had in bounties that require you not to die.
Note: I'm not talking about people who do not know how to use their class properly, but people who do it on purpose to troll.
The report options seem very inadequate as there is no option for behaviour like that and if I leave the strike I will be punished for it (however that may be) according to the last patch notes.

2 RepliesEdited by The Fool: 4/26/2015 12:52:11 PMSince I cannot edit my post: One option would be to make it impossible for teammates to kill you by pushing you into walls with sparrows or generally make it impossible for other players to push you around if you're in the same team. In addition, change the titan bubbles from a bubble to just an aoe buff that is active if you're within a certain radius of the titan.

Curious. I almost always put a bubble on tank in sepiks. (He can't shoot) Then I go to town with a shotty. But I'm sure, some players consider it as grief. (I call it smart, but whatever.)

5 RepliesSo we should just quit strikes because other people "can't help themselves"? Because of some sense of entitlement you have about content VS fun... Because Destiny is not Skyrim, it's ok for people to troll other players? You must be another Microsoft employee paid to ruin this game. For real players, just use the in game reporting system that Bungie put in the submenu. It's a video game not real life, it's not snitching. It does work, there is just a back log from trolls and people still reporting "loot caves". I apologize for those other players, especially Titans. That is not behaviour befitting a Titan, let alone a Guardian. You will not be penalized for quitting any strikes, the patch notes were talking about people who "idle" in the game, actually bored players who walk away from their controller and don't help out. Which I tend to prefer over trolls who actually disrupt the game.

1 ReplyI was paired up with two guys that tried to murder me with interceptors all the way to valus. It made the strike more fun if you ask me.

It happens. Report them and deal with it or report them and leave. It's that simple. They will get reported more than you will, so it's a non-problem.

I put saint 14 bubbles on top of spawns or under drop ships to blind them all...

After finishing the Omnigul strike I put the controller down, walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of sweet and salty peanuts. I returned (about 15 seconds later) to see that the mission had began and this idiot titan was trying to ram me with his sparrow, but he couldn't because I spawned on a ridge. I didn't get upset about it, I just hopped on my sparrow and took off. Needless to say the guy that tried to kill me died about 3 times. ALL 3 times I walked over to his orb and tea bagged him repeatedly! I NEVER revived him, after his 4th death he left the strike team. I said that to say this, there will ALWAYS be a time to retaliate, just be patient. P.S. When I run with my Titan I only put my bubble up to protect my teammates and to help them with weapons of light. I never try to team kill them with the bubble.

Sunsinger warlocks are good at it too. Solar Wind perk can push people quite effectively.

2 RepliesHere's how to solve it: leave the strike. Trolling is necessary because the game has gotten so boring that we have to find something to do until house of wolves. But if the game were a sandbox like skyrim, we wouldn't even have to play strikes to have fun. Think about that one for a while.
