Outside the base Zara summons Juggernaut. Their meeting a little sweeter that last.
"Oh your eyes are wiser today. A little calmer I see." Juggernaut rolls and writhes in the dirt. "I like the earth. Not being stuck in it of course, but I think we should go dOwN."
His grins reeks of a malicious nature.
Zara nods. "I have the coordinates. I know you can get me there."
"Of course, of course anything for the Mistress. And what of the comrades?"
"We get them out too."
"They are going to see you and think you're crazy."
"I know."
"You realize after we do this, after this planet is saved, there is no going back?"
"Yes."
"Ohhh! She's gutsy today! I LIKE IT."
Juggernaut snaps at the air in excitement and opens a dark portal through which Zara and the once Immortal Juggernaut pass through to the depths, the foundation of the mountain.

An unearthly darkness is settled and manifested on the other side of the portal. Zara can feel Vex's presence and smiles to know that a seasoned fighter is beside her. Barely a glimmer of light shines to the right. It's energy slowly fading into nothingness. The hope of such a little thing nearly gone. Juggernaut growls with joy. "Oh this will be delicious my friends. The excruciating fight upwards begins~!" Zara shakes her head fighting to hold her nerve. "There will be no light until we exit. These things we are surrounded by have no name and cannot abide the light, but will devour us if they get the chance... Let's not give it to them! Fight to get back to the surface!" Suddenly as though the walls themselves collapsed on the three. Our fighters find them selves under great duress. Zara moves to retrieve the last glimmer.

*makes light through small Ki orb*

The Ki orb illuminates the numerous creatures of the dark who in low muted murmurs seek to tear away at Vex and Zara. Juggernaut laughs manically unharmed by the monsters in the cavern. Zara's mad dash places her a top some of the creatures. One manages to grasp her foot. She calls on the katana and slices a circular motion that arcs over her head. This cause the creatures to jump up and she moves into their vacated space as they crush the creature that grasped her foot. Every inch closer to the Relic and every second forcing the hand of death.

*Baits all the creatures to me* "Make a run for the relic!"

Zara races to the relic and just as her hand touches it, it bursts a bright light and disappears. Vex can see for an instant a tall figure preparing to swing a heavy blade at Zara. She barely manages to evade the sweeping hit, roll past and race to Vex. "Let's head up." The only way out is to fight the uphill battle.

Walking behind them... [url=http://s21.photobucket.com/user/Kaikun313/media/knight.jpg.html]Primordial Lucifer.[/url][/b] [i]Well, hello, organic insects.[/i] [b]You can clearly hear him almost spitting the word "insect."[/b] [i]I'd like to thank you for finding the Fail-Safe... It saves us the trouble of having to use valuable Core-space. All the more to bring you groveling to your knees...[/i]

*Jrs jump on the Originals as I tackle lucifer through the ceiling.* "Go Zara!"

"Go where!?" She yells frantically. Blocking an attack from an original she uses its weight to flip it over. As it stands again she reassess the situation with the Jrs. [spoiler]they came through too?[/spoiler]

"Run with the relic while we take them!" "Get out of here!"

"I'm trying!" Barely evading a lethal blow from an Original, Zara kicks it shoving it back and proceeds to move directly into a counter with another behind her. She slices the 2cd attacker with dagger and manages to leap back into to avoid a blow from it. The first attacker charges and she blocks its attack before sliding under it. Back on her feet she fights a bit with the 2cd before the first comes back only to meddle in the way and be impaled by the 2cd.

[b]You hear clanking as Lucifer's gears switch, and with the sound of an iron whip, he kicks you to the ground at breakneck speeds. The Originals grapple with the Jr.s with one hand, and rapidly unload bullets of hard light with the SMG in the other.[/b]

*They exert their energy and Push them back, I pull lucifers arm off*

[b]The arm fails to come off, and he swings his axe at light speeds. The Originals continue to fight, and as a Jr. prepares a final blow on a crippled Original, the droid grapples at the offending life form, holds it to its chest... And detonates, killing them both.[/b]

Zara manages the death of one Original with the utmost trouble. When a second slams her from behind she touches its shoulder to balance herself as she vaults over it. Now behind it she sends a sweeping blow that sends it back. Yet she does not cut past its armor. Thoroughly annoyed, the katana disappears and a small blade takes its place in her hand. She charges, evades the first blow and plows the blade into its head. The Original falls dead on the ground and Zara leaps off to defend again.

[b]The thing explodes in a drive of plasma, and one sends a Jr. Flying into you.[/b]

Zara catches the Jr, but is slammed into a wall. Setting the Jr down she is punched in the stomach and hits the wall again. As the another punch comes she has enough clarity to grab the offenders fist and stay the blow long enough for the Jr to decapitate it. She looks down at the Jr. "Teamwork is a beautiful thing." Juggernaut crosses his arms and frowns. "No it's not. It's cheating."

[b]The Original slumps onto you, dead, but a high-pitched whine can be heard from its chest.[/b]

Juggernaut grins, "Figure this own out kid." Zara barely manages to get out of the way of the blast. Juggernaut screams with joy, "Listen! Listen! Blow them up. At least with the Originals you now have their DNA. Touch their skin with your hand and they'll just explode." Trusting Juggernaut and with only 2 originals left Zara attempts to do as Juggernaut insists. She manages a grasp on on Original and certainly its arm blows off causing a burst of blood and tissue, but Zara's sword arm burns in the process. She steps back in pain and switches the blade to her other hand. Wincing she staggers back and the Jr finishes off the injured Original.

[b]The Original pulls a dead man's grasp on the Jr., exploding and killing it. Three more surround you.[/b] ...///SURRENDER THE FAIL-SAFE, ORGANIC.

Zara sighs and a deadly smile curls over her lips. "So be it." Her arm is healing, but the continued battling slows the pace. Juggernaut meanwhile sits with concern over Zara's condition. Her death would mean his as well. Taking first the Original on the left Zara runs at it.

[b]The Originals each leap onto Kara, weighing her down in an almost comical dog pile... And then, the high pitched whine.[/b]

Zara can't believe it. They dog pile. She rolls and her legs are caught. Straining to remove herself she realizes she can just start hacking at them and does. Juggernaut shakes his head. "That's not how ladies fight. I fight dirty, your supposed to fight like a lady!! Zara get up!"
