Suggestions for future Iron Banners

First, let me state that this is the first Iron Banner that I've participated in since the first one and that Bungie has come a long way towards making it worthwhile, even if you aren't winning most of your games. The medallions, especially the fact that they barely slow you down in progression, were a very nice addition. That said, there are a couple of things that I would add or change to make it even better. First, and most importantly, we need more maps. Out of more than a dozen available maps, Iron Banner consists of 5. For an event that requires as much grinding to go through as Iron Banner does, this is frustrating. At the very least, add in the rest of the non-DLC maps (including Exodus Blue for Playstation players - I wouldn't even care if Xbox had access to it for the week that Iron Banner lasts), including the Combined Arms maps (even though I hate First Light). Just adding those other maps would at least double the amount of available maps, which would decrease the tedium associated with the event. However, they could make it even better by adding the DLC maps as well, even if it were only over the last few days of the event. Adding the DLC maps would essentially give people a chance to play the maps and might even encourage them to get the DLC. If nothing else, Bungie could make it so that those new maps could only show up if at least 2/3 of the players involved (so 8) had the DLC. We paid for the DLC and it would be nice if we could play it during these events. (Side Note: I've done bounties for Thorn, Invective, and Bad Juju since the DLC maps were supposedly added to the normal Control rotation and have yet to see them during those grinds.) Secondly, since the event is only a week long, there is a major grind to 5, and progress is reset between events, it would be very nice if the reputation was shared across characters. As it stands, someone who has made characters of each class essentially either picks one class to focus on to get to Rank 5 (hours upon hours for most people), plays some of the others to lower levels, or doesn't play at all. As it stands, I can buy weapons, emblems, and shaders, and transfer them, but I can't get armor for my other classes or the class items for them without grinding for upwards of a dozen hours (on the same 5 maps) each. So, I ended up solely leveling my Warlock and might have enjoyed playing on my other two characters (which would have been worthwhile after I maxed Crucible Marks on the week), but it wasn't worth it, since I wouldn't have gotten far enough to be worth my time. I know that this one is a long shot, but it's worth bringing up. Finally, a little variety in the modes available would be nice, as well. At the very least, Clash would be a nice addition, to keep the 6v6 going. Another option would be Iron Banner versions of each of the current playlists. Again, the biggest issue with Iron Banner is variety (followed by the extensive grind), and this would help tremendously.
