IB armour doesn't buff

Just found out that wearing IB armour doesn't add to the reputation buff. So it's better to wear raid gear to get to lev 32. A bit disappointing because I love the look of the IB gear and I really want to get the upgraded chest. I had been wearing my old IB chest, but of course I'm at a disadvantage because it only gets me to level 31. Oh well. I'm at rank 2.5.... Time to grind....
