Hmmm. 100 member cap
So I was reading information today on the main Bungie website and it seems that a clan can only have 100 members per platform.
We are quickly approaching that. As of this writing, there are 67 members wearing the clan tag. I would say at least 60 of them or Xbox One owners. I know we have a few 360 members.
I find it interesting that within a week we will have reached the maximum limit allowed by Bungie. That will bring us to an interesting place. The group can have an unlimited number of members, but once we hit the clan cap that's it for clan members.
That means sometime down the road, we'll actually have to monitor and see who is active and who is not. Not something I was expecting to do this early on lol.
That will definitely be weird. I've probably played with two dozen of you fine men and women already and every single one of you has been wonderful!
I have to say, playing with my clanmates has made this fantastic game even better.

To TwinSun25's point, you can form alliances to link multiple clans to deal with the 100 member cap. I learned this when I was trying to figure out how to join a group or clan by reading the FAQ: [b]What purpose does a Bungie.net Clan Alliance serve? [/b] The current purpose of an Alliance is to link together Clans that share like-minded interests and to allow larger communities and organizations to sort their Clan members by interest. Clans who have reached the 100 member cap on Clan rosters can use the Alliance feature to grow by creating more Clans and link them together with an Alliance. A Clan may only join one Alliance. However, an Alliance can be made up of any number of Clans. To help navigate through Clan Alliances, there is a navigation tab at the top right of your Group page so you can easily jump from one Clan to another within an Alliance. Don't ask me how to make this happen properly, I was just happy to even find the information.

3 RepliesI hate to say it but its kind of sad what this situation speaks to. I think most of us joined this clan due to the lack of decorum and maturity of a LOT of other destiny players. Read the post from the new guy colonel rutgers i think it is who was getting private messages from people in crucible matches trash talking him, come on. I would love to see a scenario where one of these pukes had a gamertag that was recognized by an older player who hired them for a job. That would be some sweet shoulden freuda.

1 ReplyCan there be a clan 2, having xbox 360 as one and xbox 1 as the other, if most are xbox 1, , im 360 myself, i would hate to keep others out of the clan when 360 members are in the minority!!!?

I was also very surprised at how fast this grew. When I joined I was thinking there would probably only be around 10 people total and out of the 10 only about 2 or 3 would be the kind of people I would want to play with regularly. Boy was I wrong on both fronts. And like you said I really haven't found anyone I don't want to play with again. There is obviously demographic of older guys out the playing destiny I just never managed to find by them when I played or went to LFG to join raids.

Think I read somewhere you can make alliances. So if it gets full cant someone make a clan with a similar name and alliance with this one? I dont know if its in leadership options or if its just alliance in name.

I guess that's not such a big deal. I don't care if you've got the tag or not, if you're here, part of the group, and an active player. That's good enough for me! I don't want to try to get all elite and stuff like that. That's not the point. The point was to meet some like minded adults the kill fallen and vex with lol. It would be cool to have as many people wear the tag as we wanted, that way when the other players see us they see solidarity lol. But other than that, if you're part of the group and u want to be a dog, you're a dog.
