Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of Adoption [SOLVED]

This is my first riddle. It's supposed to be more fun than hard. There are two answers, and you must respond with both of them. Above it, its brothers and sisters, its family. It's absent, like an eye without its pupil, and yet it's right in front of me. I am the highest, but it is higher. It is both the brightest and dimmest. What is it, and what am I? Hint: I have nurtured your children. What they fight for is beneath us both. Update: Its been solved. The winner: uknown assasian. The answers:
The Traveler and the Tower
Explanation:
"Above it, its brothers and sisters, its family." Stars. This riddle assumes that the Traveler is Alpha Lupi. "It's absent, like an eye without a pupil, and yet it's right in front of me." If the traveler is Alpha Lupi, it wouldn't be in its celestial body, its constellation. It's located right in front of the Tower. "I am the highest, but it is higher." I meant this more literally than it was taken. The Tower is the highest building in The Last City, but the Traveler is higher. "It is both the brightest and dimmest." Alpha Lupi is the brightest star in its constellation, but as the Traveler, it doesn't shine at all. The title's meaning: Guardians are referred to as the Traveler's children in the Grimoire. The Tower hosts them. The hint: "I have nurtured your children." The above explanation explains this. "What they fight for is beneath us both." The Last City.
