Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A

Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3. Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here! Feel free to PM me questions when this thread dies down too! In one of the books in the forerunner saga, the primordial was put in reverse timelock by the didact This caused it to age by billions of years My question is, did a billion years actually pass for it? Or was the conditions artificially altered to mimic those years passing a a few short seconds/minutes (causing cell death at an incredible rate) Essentially, did the primordial go through billions of years or was did he simply feel himself falling apart, while his perceptin of time is still fixed in those couple of seconds/minutes?
