I think it should be changed into a blaster weapon (heat sync mechanic coming in renegades). Increse its rate of fire but give it a high heat build up, add the ability to reduce heat with final blows. There are a few exotics I want them to change to blasters, risk runner especially. Add a trait to the catalyst that activates arc conductor for a few seconds when the weapon ends a full venting (cools from overheating).
