"Wait, what?!" Ulfric asked as he was taken back. "I'm...sorry I know I'm a little more than sleep deprived but what are you saying?!"
"The war needs to end, Ulfric." Yuri stated. "We have been fighting for too long and too many of us have died over what, a disagreement in beliefs?"
"Those beliefs are what define us, Yuri!" Ulfric told them.
"Those beliefs are the reason you are getting killed!" Abraham spoke up. This immediately made Ulfric red faced.
"Why you listen here you-"
"He's right!" Welters spoke up. "We are dying for what we believe, I get that. But this shi-stuff is ridiculous! Ulfric do you have any idea what the body count is?!"
"Of course I do Welters! It's exactly why we have to finish this! We haven't worked centuries up until this moment just to make peace!"
"Why not?" Bella asked her father.
"It's because...!" Ulfric stopped himself as he raised his voice. He turned to his daughter, and let out a breath. "It's...it's because..."
"Because why, dad?" Bella asked again. Ulfric seemed stumped by the question.

Halt squinted his eyes as he looked at Cannon, as if he was analyzing his statement. "And how would we ever be able to trust them as long as these extremists exist?"

"Trust goes both ways. You could sayvthe same for them after the threats you just made." He didn't whither under the stare, and returned it.

"I am willing to put faith in you, Halt." Ulfric said. "Despite what you've dome against my family, I see why you did it. I won't forgive you, I can't do that. But I am willing to put aside our differences so that both of our people can live." Halt seemed to give off a low breath that rumbled on his throat. He seemed stumped by the situation as he no longer made eye contact with anyone.

Cannon kept silent, knowing Halt was thinking on it. He was tense, ready to step up should a fight break out, he would fight and win.

Then after what seemed like an eternity, halt let out a breath. "I want Abby and Ethan back." "Of course." "I also want your people gone as soon as possible." "We will leave immediately when you fine the word." Ulfric told Halt. The grizzled Grenwald scratched his beard before he nodded. "Hmph! Peace it is, then." He said. The Tokage suddenly all cheered while the grenwalds seemed a little less enthusiastic, but still happy about the matter.

Cannon smiled, then slumped onto, his knee as the adrenaline left him. "I don't... Feel... So... Good..." He mumbled as his head lolled.

Then, his vision began to go black once more. He felt himself falling but someone caught him as he heard the muffled sounds of those around him. Then everything went dark. [spoiler]end of chapter 35[/spoiler]
