"Three cotton candy! No! Wait! One chocola-NO! Wait....One strawberry....No! No no no! One strawberry then one vanilla and then another strawberry!"
Traci's smile couldn't get any wider as she hopped up and down again, causing a few shocked expressions from nearby parents that instantly covered their kid's eyes.

Cannon put a hand on her shoulder to make her stop hopping, and shot a very apologetic look at the parents. "Traci, please don't hop." He requested.

"Oh? Why?! I love hopping!" She giggled, but didn't continue her hopping. The girl had no idea as the parents turned their kid's heads away.

"Traci..." He leaned in to whisper. "It's not really appropriate with how short your skirt is."

"Why not?...And why are we whispering?" Traci innocently snickered, still clueless. "You're acting strange."

"Traci... Your underwear shows every time you hop because of how short your skirt is." He winced as he spoke.

"EEP!" Her face turned a bright red and she tugged down on her skirt to try and cover herself more. She then leaned even more on her father and tried to hide her face.

He didn't know what to do with this situation, and therefore was a bit stunned. "Sorry Traci..."

"Sure thing ad'ika." He kissed the top of her head, leading her over to the ice cream parlour.

"Thank you....I'm so embarrassed...." She stuck to his side as they walked.

"Hey, it could have been worse." He tried to cheer her up as he ordered the ice creams. He handed her the requested three scoops and lead her to a table outside in the sun.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean, luckily I didn't forget to wear underwear...which I've done...numerous times....." She smiled at the sight of the icecream and instantly began to devour it. "Thank you!"

He smiled back and began to eat his own ice cream. He spilled a little bit on his left arm, and it began to suddenly vibrate. "Osik!"

"Father! You shouldn't spill liquids on your...robotic...arm....I mean, what? Why...uhh....Why is that vibrating?" She cleared her throat and looked down.

He pulled his glove off to wipe the ice cream off his arm, which was indeed robotic. "They told me it was supposed to be water proof..." He sighed.

"Well, should've got it from JT. Only the highest of quality from him." She kept eating quickly, getting a brain freeze multiple times.

"Wait... How did you know my arm was... And you weren't surprised?" He asked, confused.

"With your line of work it honestly wasn't a surprise and of course I knew. I'm still a walking weapon of mass destruction after all." She finished up her cone with a happy sigh. "That was great!"

Cannon smiled and finished his own ice cream. "Yeah. And thanks for not freaking out about my arm..."

"Mhmm....So! Happier things! I wonder where mo-I mean, I...uhh....f*ck....Wait! Sorry! I didn't mean to swear! I just...!" Traci began to freak out, but just ends up sighing.

Cannon shook his head, a small frown begining to form as he sighed. "It's fine." It clearly wasn't fine.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! Umm! Uhh! Puppies! Who doesn't smile at puppies?! They're so adorable and furry and cute and adorable and furry...and cute....Hehehe...?" She nervously laughed at the end of her rambling, attempting to distract.

His mood was already damaged, and for a second she could see his façade of happiness slip and show just how much pain he was in. And then it was gone, back to lying and saying he was fine.

"Father....You're upset. Now look who's lying." She frowns and hugs him tightly again. "It's okay....It'll be alright. We'll be a big happy family again in no time!"

He hugged back, taking a deep breath. "I really hope you're right, Traci. You have no idea how much this whole mess hurts..."
