"Cheers indeed." Scorch took the glass and set it down on the stand by the couch, he cuddled against the Android.
"You see this? How wild."

-
"Well, silly. I don't want to get drunk before I need to."
-
"Your quite right. Don't want to waste a drink such as this until the right time." She stayed as she was
-
He turned away from her, reaching for the glass. He took it in his hand and did a sudden 180, slamming the glass into her face and jamming the broken pieces of glass into her face. He jumped to his feet, sprinting to the front door of the apartment and opening it
-
If he looked behind him he could see her staggering, pulling a small pistol out from its place in the wall. She turned toward him with nothing but a circle of red and eyes that held no emotion
-
He moved out the door and slammed the door closed, spinning around the away from the door and behind the wall
-
Everything was quiet, if only for a moment. Suddenly, the building rattled and all the lights went off. Then it seemed only the dim-red emergency lighting was on. An alarm began to blare in the background, as well as an urgent evacuation message
-
"Shit." Scorch whispered, moving down the hallway towards the staircase, elevators or exit
-
He moved to the staircase, a low rumbling showing signs of chaos outside. As he went down, he was suddenly stopped by rapid bullet fire right over his head. The nearby doorway leading to a new level might give him a chance to regroup...
-
He jumped down the stairs that remained and pushed through the doorway into the hallway. He looked to the right and left
-
It was mainly a small security floor designed for a few offices. There wasn't much too it until a sudden shake blasted open the wall and pushed his back. He could see an aircraft pull away at the last moment
-
"What the actually hell!?" Scorch yelled out, looking out the hole in the building
-
None of you are getting payed now. Don't worry, I'll probably just leave it abandoned in favor of something else.
He could see a city under attack by an unknown force, skyscrapers burning from the assault. Something pulled Scorch from the hole, the sound of someone trying to communicate. It came from a small earpiece left on a nearby desk "...Hello? Is anyone human still alive in this city?"
