Before he could have any time to regain his footing however, he felt himself being bashed back into the mountain face. The Infinite blade left his hand and the back of his head smacked into the mountain. His vision was blurred and his ears ringed but as his mind cleared he saw Aki standing in front of him, his blade in hand and pointed at Zane's throat.
Zane felt the cold steel of his little brothers blade touch his neck, and the trickling of blood that came from the broken skin at the tip.
"This....is...over!" Aki told Zane with bated breath.

"Thank you.....I think a space overlooking land would be good, don't you?"

Edited by Inflatablepants: 6/9/2017 1:22:26 AM"Ya...ya it would be nice." Falk said. The two cleaned and wrapped the body for transport. They walked across the land until they reached a point where it stopped and dropped into a deep cliff side. This allowed them to look out onto the snowy tundra of the Ko-Rudo region. They buried him in the ground there, with nothing to mark the grave.

He let out a deep sigh, and clenched his brothers blade tightly. "Rest well Aki....Your with big sis now...."

Edited by Inflatablepants: 6/9/2017 1:23:46 AM"You should set the blade down into the ground." Falk suggested. "Wise men say actions speak louder than words. Well, nothing can reflect a man's actions better then his blade."
-
"Yeah...." He planted the blade into the ground, and then took off his pendant and wrapped it around the blade.

Falk looked at the grave for a moment. Then, he asked Zane a question. "When will all of this death finally stop, Zane?"
-
"I don't know....I can't answer that just yet old friend."
-
Falk let out a breath as he looked out onto the landscape ahead. He remained quiet before he spoke again. "As is the life we have chosen I suppose."
-
"The life of a fighter is never an easy one. I'm not sure it'll ever end."
-
"...Then I suppose there is no point waiting around for it to happen again." Falk told Zane as he stepped back away from the grave. "We need to get back to the dojo. See how the others are doing. If we're lucky the others have taken out the rest of the Coldbourne's. otherwise, we prepare. Because every breath Tywin draws is an insult to my daughters memory."
-
"Agreed, let's go home."

Falk was nearing the end of his rope, Zane knew that. The question was, Could he save him from Falling?
end of chapter 32 The end
