Cannon again waited for the last moment before parying with the knuckle of his knife's hand guard and aiming a punch at his face.

-
As the sword slid off the knife, and Can's oncoming fist went towards the Tokage's skull, the cloaked figure quickly crouched as Cannon swung over him.
-
The Mandalorian spun to stay facing his adversary, being careful as to not leave himself open for a counter attack.
-
However the Tokage gave him barely enough time to react. The forester swung back up towards Cannon with his shortsword. But Cannon was already ready for such a strike.
-
Once again, he caught the blow on the knife's knuckle guard and stepped in close while iaming a knee to the man's gut.
-
The knee to the man's open chest sent the man up into the air. The Tokage ninja flew up and crashed through a dozen branches before he crashed into the ground. He groaned as he stumbled back up.
-
Cannon slowly walked forward, knowing his opponent was hurt and allowingbthe pain to set in.
-
"You're such a cock!" The man insulted Can with gritted teeth as he lunged at Cannon sloppily.
-
The Mandalorian easily batted the blow aside, swiping the knuckle guard at his stomach. He aimed specifically at the bruised area his knee had hit.
-
The punch sent the man back into the ground, literally. The dirt around him exploded and the figure went limp as his body looked broken. His eyes were closed, meaning that he must have been knocked unconscious.
-
Cannon knelt down to check the man's pulse, keeping his knife ready in case he was only faking.
-
He felt the soft pumping of blood running through the man's veins. He was not dead, but from the pace of it Cannon could tell he was out cold.
-
Deciding that nobody would recover from a blow like that quickly, Cannon moves on. He quickly resumed his path, chasing down his prey.
-
As he followed the tracks, he saw that the sky was starting to turn a dim orange. It seemed that he had been walking for some time and that night was nearly done. However, he noticed now again that the tracks faded away. It was difficult to pick them up, in fact he could hardly see them. He would have to use his power again.
-
Kneeling down, he touched the tracks and again began to use his powers.
-
He found himself walking as the woman once more. And was immediately beset by Bella's voice. "LET GO OF ME!" Bella yelled as she cried. Cannon looked down on the girl, and saw that his feminine hand was frozen to her hair. The girl could not escape. "Now, now." Cannon said with Diana's voice. "Stop being such a stupid little girl, and co-operate. You want this to end don't you?" "No! I want you to end! Let go of me!" "In due time, Bella dear. In due time..." Cannon found himself, as himself again. He looked around and saw that the tracks turned south east. The sun was rising and the moon was falling in the sky.
-
He took off at a dead sprint, a feeling of dread filling him. He couldn't shake the feeling that something horrible would happen. Thanks to his augmentations, he was able to sprint at speeds equivalent to a horse.
-
As the trees whizzed past him, he saw that the trees began to part and were less common then before. He thought he saw a large clearing up ahead but he couldn't yet reach it. He felt the air get colder as he sprinted and he noticed that he lush green grass began to turn an icy blue as he ran further. The trees leaves were blue and covered in hoar frost and his breath blew clouds of cold air with each exhale.
-
Cold weather didn't bother him, but he slowed down ever so slightly and quieted his steps.
-
As he did, he found that he had cleared the tree line. Ahead of him, was a landscape that made his eyes go wide. A cliffside. It wasn't some small cliff, it was massive. He saw that it dropped directly into the ocean which was nearly a hundred feet down. There was a thin wooden bridge held together by rope, so that it arced down. At the middle. The sun had begun to rise but the sky was not so bright yet but Cannon could see his target on the bridge. Her long white hair swayed with the wind as her corset stayed tight to her curved form. She stood in the centre of the bridge, and she looked directly at Cannon as he came from the trees. There was four feet of empty space between Cannon and the bridge and hundred of feet that separated him from Diana. The bridge continued on past her, and it was attached to a single massive plateau that stood solitary as a landmass as it was water locked. "CAN!!!" Yelled the familiar little girl. As Cannon looked he saw Bella in front of Diana, a sharpened knife pressed up against the little girls throat as Diana Coldbourne held her hostage.
-
Cannon stopped on the bridge, watching them. "Bella, are you hurt?" He called.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 6/1/2017 12:42:55 AM"N-no!" She clarified. "Not yet, anyways!" Diana yelled at Cannon. "Canny, do me a favour and walk onto the bridge why don't you? I am feeling a little twitchy."
-
"If you hurt her I'll rip your arm off." Cannon called as he complied, stepping onto the bridge.
-
"Oooooh. For-play. We haven't even begun yet dear Canny!" Diana told him with a sly grin. "That'll be close enough!" She told him as he walked a few steps onto the bridge.
-
He stopped, glaring daggers at her as he analyzed the situation for any possible advantages.
-
The bridge seemed to limit movement if a battle were to occur on it. The ropes looked like they could be cut easily enough. Besides those points it seemed to be a spot chosen for the dramatic rather then the strategic.
