As he continued down the predicted path the tracks suddenly became easier to follow. Because...
There were two of them. There were the original tracks, and then there were a set of small ones dragging behind them.

As they became easier to follow, he began to move faster. It didn't take his ability to know Bella had woken up.
-
However, as he continued to walk down the tracks, he suddenly felt something crash into him. It hit him from behind and it made Can fall to his knee. As his eyes adjusted he saw a cloaked figure roll past him and draw a Tokage shortsword. Through the dark, Cannon saw that it was the gatekeeper. "The woods are dangerous Can." The man said menacingly. "I guess they will find your body tomorrow, when the Tokage charge the Grenwalds and destroy them!"
-
"Ah... You just made the biggest mistake of your life." Cannon said, actually laughing. He hadn't had a real good fight in a while, and this guy just ticked him off by dishonorably hitting him from behind.
-
"We'll see about that." The figure said. "Diana will lead the Tokage clan to glory. It's a shame you will die before you see that!" He yelled as he ran towards Cannon.
-
Cannon had remained on one knee facing away from him. He kept his bow in his hands, waiting. At the last second, the Mandalorian Super Soldier spun and swung the steel compound bow as hard as he could at the gatekeeper's knees, aiming too high for his to jump it.
-
The man still jumped anyways as the compound bow connected with his legs. The impact sent him rag dolling forward over Can and he crashed into the ground. He quickly got back up and spun his sword around into a reverse grip.
-
Cannon slowly stood, rising to his full height of six feet and drawing the knife Welter had given him. "Last chance to back off, otherwise you're fair game." He growled menacingly.
-
"You outsiders are so cocky. Let's see you talk like that with steel in your throat!" The man yelled. However it was a fakeout, as he didn't move after what was definitely a war cry.
-
Cannon laughed, slowlg walking forward. "I've been fighting since before you knew what a sword was, mate. You think you're so threatening? I've fought things so powerful you couldn't begin to imagine them." His voice was even and deathly calm as he approached.
-
The man flinched slightly, but that flinch turned into a Sprint as he dashed at Cannon with a thrust of his blade.
-
Cannon again waited for the last moment before parying with the knuckle of his knife's hand guard and aiming a punch at his face.
-
As the sword slid off the knife, and Can's oncoming fist went towards the Tokage's skull, the cloaked figure quickly crouched as Cannon swung over him.
-
The Mandalorian spun to stay facing his adversary, being careful as to not leave himself open for a counter attack.
-
However the Tokage gave him barely enough time to react. The forester swung back up towards Cannon with his shortsword. But Cannon was already ready for such a strike.
-
Once again, he caught the blow on the knife's knuckle guard and stepped in close while iaming a knee to the man's gut.
-
The knee to the man's open chest sent the man up into the air. The Tokage ninja flew up and crashed through a dozen branches before he crashed into the ground. He groaned as he stumbled back up.
-
Cannon slowly walked forward, knowing his opponent was hurt and allowingbthe pain to set in.
-
"You're such a cock!" The man insulted Can with gritted teeth as he lunged at Cannon sloppily.
-
The Mandalorian easily batted the blow aside, swiping the knuckle guard at his stomach. He aimed specifically at the bruised area his knee had hit.
-
The punch sent the man back into the ground, literally. The dirt around him exploded and the figure went limp as his body looked broken. His eyes were closed, meaning that he must have been knocked unconscious.
-
Cannon knelt down to check the man's pulse, keeping his knife ready in case he was only faking.
-
He felt the soft pumping of blood running through the man's veins. He was not dead, but from the pace of it Cannon could tell he was out cold.
-
Deciding that nobody would recover from a blow like that quickly, Cannon moves on. He quickly resumed his path, chasing down his prey.
-
As he followed the tracks, he saw that the sky was starting to turn a dim orange. It seemed that he had been walking for some time and that night was nearly done. However, he noticed now again that the tracks faded away. It was difficult to pick them up, in fact he could hardly see them. He would have to use his power again.
-
Kneeling down, he touched the tracks and again began to use his powers.
