Cylus had his helmet on, so he was ready to go. "All right" he said with a breath
As the lights were turned out, the bright glow of the small cube filled the room. The low hum became audible once more, and Cylus rubbed his hands together in approval.
"This is the experimental Arc Reactor my partner Rachel and I were working on. She had figured out how to use some technology she "found" to create this white barrier that you see before you. This is simply a vessel for what is to come." he says. With a flick of a switch, the light briefly becomes brighter with a tint of blue. Small sparks of blue electricity began to sputter within the box, before taking shape of a small orb. It was extremely unstable, as it kept shooting stray bolts at the barrier's walls.
"This is the Arc Energy we've managed to trap within the barrier, but so far we haven't been able to put it to use. It is too dangerous to use for anything." Cylus says. Moments later, the orb begins to hum louder, and vibrations rattle the podium and everything on it. Cylus quickly flips the switch and it begins to die out.
"As you can see, if I were to leave it on any longer, we'd all be dead. That's where you come in" he says looking to Vaughn. "I was thinking some sort of electromagnetic field or high kinetic frequency could help stabilize it so we can utilize it. What do you think?"
