"FINE." Falk said angrily. "I'll hear out your plan, Anne. It better be a damned Picasso if you think I'm gonna let you stay here!" "Thank you." Anne thanked dismissively as she turned around and began to walk up the road. Falk looked at Zane with a sense of anger, before he followed his daughter up the slopes after her. Anne lead the group, though she was quite a bit ahead. The snow started to fall as they made their way up the mountain road. Then, Anne Turned off onto a thin mountain path. "Up here." She directed. Zane and Falk continued to walk up the path, and that was when Falk turned to Zane. "She's not in a good place Zane. I wish you didn't appease her idea back there." Falk told Zane.

  • "Ya but we also could have taken a jeep and headed back to the dojo!" Falk rebuked. "I don't want Anne out here dealing with her grief like this. It's not healthy for her."

  • "Ya but didn't you join a cult in a different dimension where you had to fill up a heart with souls?" Falk asked Zane with a bit of a grin.

  • "Hey, in my defense I felt sorry for the bastards. Plus I was hired, and was basically lied too." He said returning the grin.

  • Falk shook his head at the idea of Zane being apart of some cult. "That being said Zane, this...revenge complex? It's not good for her. And it wasn't good for you either."

  • "That may be so, but until she deals with this it's gonna eat away at her soul. She needs to deal with this before her darkness consumes her very being."

  • "I just wish it wasn't this then." Falk finished. The two walked behind Anne until she stopped. The two got close and saw that there was a small cave on the mountain. "In here." Anne said as she grabbed a flashlight from her pocket and turned it on to illuminate the dark cavern. "Anne..." Falk started. "...Have you been living in a cave for the last week?" "....No." she replied unconvincingly.

  • "Falk, nothing wrong with roughing it for a week or so. Sometimes you need to get away from society."

  • "You're talking to the guy who joined a cult that collected pants, Zane." Falk told him. "I know a thing or two about living away from society." "Thank goodness you did." Anne said to her father. "What do you mean?" Falk asked her. She patted her pants for a moment as she entered the cave, and a look of dawning came upon Falk's face. "The invisibility pants! Of course you took them!" Falk exclaimed as he followed his daughter into the cold depths.

  • "That's very true." Falk agreed. The three made their way down more until Zane could feel more room around his feet. He saw that they were in a larger section of the cave. A small ray of light shined down through a hole in the ceiling, which illuminated the cave enough for Anne to turn the light off. There was a small pile of firewood stacked in the corner and there was a small pile of ash in the centre.

"Huh, seems cozy." He commented as he sat down next to the ash pile.

  • "Ya. It's...something." Anne commented as she grabbed some firewood from the corner of the cave and rested it on the ash pile. She reached into a small satchel and pulled out a small piece of paper and she slid it under the fire wood. Falk reached into the same bag and pulled out a lighter. He lit the paper, and this ignited the small fire place. With that, Anne sat down on the side opposite of Zane. Falk sat down in between both of them. "So." Anne began, "Guess I owe you that plan I had." "Ya, you do." Falk told her. "If you did something like this, it better be a good one."

Zane was silent and had his arms crossed as he waited to hear what Anne's plan was. He was hoping it was good, that way he could get involved and eventually avenge his friends murder. Zane might not have shown it, but he was very exhausted. Truth be told, he was getting very little sleep since that night. Every time he closed his eyes all he saw was the event play over and over, the sword piercing through Alex's chest. It pissed him off knowing there was nothing he could have done to save him.

  • "Okay. Well, in the last week I've been sabotaging Coldbourne shipments, troops, advances and I have even been able to take down some high ranking individuals." Anne began. "The goal in doing this is to attract enough attention from all of these failures, so that Tywin will be forced to check on things. Once he leaves that castle, we make our move." "How do you propose we do that?" Falk asked her daughter. "Well I'll tell you dad. There is a Coldbourne military base half a kilometre from here north, on a large plateau that only has a single road leading to it. Hundreds of troops are there managing weapons and it the main base of north Ko-Rudo operations. This will be Tywin's first stop on his check up tour. So, when he arrives, you two will breach the base using the Coldbourne outfits you found. Actually we should do this before he even arrives to begin with. Once he's at the base, you two will alert me and I can make an arrival. Then all we have to do is wait for the perfect moment to take him down."

  • "Sounds solid, but have you thought about what could go wrong? If not you need to, because that's what makes a good planner."

  • "Well, there's cars at the base." Anne told them. "....Anne you can't be serious." "What? If something DOES go wrong all Zane has to do is enter his redemption form while I hold twilight control till we all get in a car! There's only the one road and we won't be able to climb a mountain for our escape!"

  • "And what about if Tywin decides to fight back? He's more then he seems you know, how do you know he won't detect us?"

  • "We don't Zane." Anne put blatantly. "But we either try to take him down now, where he is with less people, or attack him in his heavily fortified castle where he can prepare. We have the element of surprise, probably. Now is the best time to strike!" Anne said. "I still don't like it." Falk commented. "We don't know the risks." "Damn the risks dad! We need to do this!"

  • Zane sighed. He was very conflicted on what action to take here. He very much wanted Tywin dead, but didn't want to risk his friends lives in the process.

  • "No, Anne!" Falk yelled. "What's the problem? If we don't do this now, more people will die in the future! We have a chance at ending this all, we need to be willing to take it!" "It's suicide!" Falk exclaimed. "So is invading Castle Coldbourne! The base is less defended! Why can't you see that?!" "I'm not willing to let you get in harms way, Anne! We can all very well die here!" "And if we don't do this, dad, more people will die in our place!"

  • "Screw it, il go with her. She does have a point, if we strike him here he's less likely to escape. Not to mention he probably has the whole castle trapped."

  • "Thank you, Zane!" Anne exclaimed gladly. "You've got to be....this is a terrible idea." Falk told his daughter. "It's the best one we have." Anne replied. Falk looked at the fire for a moment, deep in thought. Then he looked up. "Well then. What kind of man or father would I be if I didn't see this through? I'm on board."
