• The two made their way west, away from the docks and across the wall that curved around to behind the palace. They saw the desolate city well from their view. Buildings were burnt down, some were collapsed, others looked like they were caught in barrages of gunfire.

Isaac muttered something underneath his breath, but couldn't continue as Arianna suddenly grabbed him by the jaw, staring fearfully into his eyes. He nodded in a terrified manner, as the two continued to stealth throughout the walkway, checking and trying to hear any incoming zombies.

As the continued down the wall, they walked above a large street. Filled to the brim with the dead. There were hundreds, thousands even. All grouped together like sheep. Then another problem hit. Just ahead, it seemed the wall had collapsed on the right side. There was no way to cross it easily and the gap was large. There seemed to be a ledge on the left side however. The drop was maybe fifteen feet. That being said, there were also dead crawling along the bottom.

"I'll head first, Isaac.." Arianna muttered, as Isaac merely gulped and nodded. She weighed slightly more than Isaac, and as such, would've seen whether it could support her weight of about one-hundred and fifty pounds. She made her way to the left side, pressing her body against the rail as she made her way to the end, her feet side to side as she forced herself to look towards her destination, and not down.

  • She made it across, finally. She felt the stone underneath her feet and knew if was steady. Now, it was Isaac's turn
Red zone
"C'mon, Isaac.." Isaac shivered, letting out a breath as he stared at the left railing. Just in case, he unsheathed one of his kamas, letting out a deep breath before he began to walk to the side. Each step he took, he immediately raised his foot afterwards, seeing if the stone would topple down..

  • It seemed safe, for now. But then, as he put his foot down, the small rock underneath his foot slipped out of place and tumbled down the wall. It hit one side, then crashed into the ground. The rock however was not significantly big, and he could still get across the ledge if he tried.

Keeping still on only one foot, Isaac allowed for his hanging foot to step onto the next stone, making his way over to Arianna calmly. "...I hope that we don't have to do that again.." Isaac murmured, as Arianna simply smirked and continued.

Suddenly a deafening squeal echoed across the city. It came from the horde of zombies in the streets below. As the two turned to the street, they saw a horrific view. The zombies, every single one, was turned to the two children.
RED ZONEEER
Arianna didn't bother with monologues or something of the sort. She immediately bolted, as Isaac followed, scrambling to sheath his kama and draw his semi-automatic rifle.

  • The zombies began to move towards the wall like an ocean of decay as they clambered on top of one another. They smashed against the wall, some dying from the collision. The clambered at the stones as they followed the two but could not reach them. The castle seemed to be a five minute run still.

"A-A-Ari I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-" "Isaac, just.." "-piss them all off please forgive me-" "Isaac!" "-oh god, now we'll probably die-" "ISAAC, SHUT UP AND RUN!" Isaac let out a murmur of a scream, as he trailed behind Arianna as she kept bolting towards the approaching castle. Arianna didn't look back, but she began to speak to Isaac calmly. "Look, it's fine, we'll be fine-" "NO WE WON'T, THEY'RE COMING!" Isaac yelled, looking as if he was going to cry. The guy couldn't handle making mistakes, it seems. "And it'll be my fault-" "QUIT BEING SO NEGATIVE AND JUST LISTEN. ...We'll be fine." Arianna murmured, still running as fast as she could manage, with Isaac about two feet behind her.

  • The dead continued to claw at the wall. They tried to climb, jumping up but falling short. But then, so many ran towards it, that they began to lift eachother up. They lifted eachother up so high that they were able to reach the pathway of the wall. They climbed up, and began to chase after the two. Dozens, made their way up in seconds. Ari and Isaac saw that up ahead they were pushing each other up as well, but they hadn't reached the top yet. The two were sixty feet away from the zombies ahead of them, while the zombies behind them continued to Sprint. They cried like pigs as they hunted their next meal. The cast was closer now, and past the zombies that were climbing ahead of them the path began to curve towards the palace's rear.

Arianna and Isaac picked up their pace, refusing to look behind their current position back at the chasing zombies as they continued to approach the castle's rear, as Arianna continued to lead the sprinting.

  • The zombies in front of them however climbed up first. They blocked their path, and now they were trapped on both sides by the approaching zombies. However, there was a large house off the bridge to the right of them. In fact, the homes were all incredibly close together and the street seemed to lead to a courtyard that was in front of the palace.

Arianna merely waved her hand as Isaac bolted to the right side, leaping upon the roof with a rough grunt and staying onto its surface with his kama's hook. Arianna had activated her Aura, as she then followed up behind Isaac and leaped onto the home, hoping to not crash through.

  • She landed safely on the stone built house. There were twenty homes between the two and the palace... And there were twenty homes and two children in front of the dead. They ran off the side of the wall and crashed into the side of the house, but some made the jump and continued to run after the two.

The two took action as fast as they could, taking to leaping from building-to-building: Isaac was capable of hooking onto the sides, while Arianna's dexterity and skill allowed her to dig into the buildings, stabilizing herself as the two came closer to the palace..

  • They jumped from one home to the next. With each jump the dead continued to run at them. Some made their way up on the homes and chased after them as the two continued their Sprint. They finally reached the last home. To get to the palace now, they would have to jump into the bloodied circular courtyard that had a broken fountain and make their way up the wide paved steps to the palace door.

"One more jump, alright?" Arianna looked over at Isaac, who gulped and nodded. "Y-Yeah. One more.." Isaac then suddenly jumped, crashing down to the concrete with an *oof!*, as Arianna accompanied him and didn't stop running. She, followed by Isaac afterwards, ran up the staircase in their rush, sweat running off of Isaac's face. Now they had to push the door open...or utilize something that could.

  • The massive door started to push open very, very slowly. The dead began to run past the courtyard and they had made their way to the steps. As the two pushed, they made enough of a crack between the two massive doors that they could slide through.

"Go!" Arianna yelled, as Isaac squeezed himself in first. Arianna soon followed, allowing the doors to close behind them as she panted from the effort it had taken to open them. Both of them then started to move, hoping that the zombies wouldn't, or couldn't, open the door.

  • The door closed with a slam! and then the sounds of the dead hitting the door echoed across the hallway of where they stood. They seemed to continued to bang into the door, but it seemed to hold. For now, that is.

"Come on, Isaac.." Arianna quietly muttered, as Isaac merely followed her. He sighed, as the young woman merely looked over at him. She was concerned, about his mental situation that is. Isaac blamed himself for quite literally everything that went wrong. "Isaac? You okay?" She questioned, as the two progressed down the hall. "...I-I'm fine." "Why do I have to keep telling you? It's alright. It's not your fault-" "What if I get myself killed? What about you?!" Isaac raised his voice a little, sighing afterwards. "...I just-" "Shhh." Arianna then silenced her own brother, pulling him into a tight hug. For a moment, there was silence, before she pushed him away and looking down at him. "Everything is going to be okay. Come on. Let's get this over with."

  • "Fatal last words, darlings." Suddenly said a feminine voice from behind them. As they turned around they observed the throne room. It was stone paved on the floors and stone walled. There was a staircase on their right, it likely lead up to the tower they had seen on the palace. At the end of the hallway was a large wooden throne, but there seemed to be a thick coat of white mist surrounding it. The two then saw that the room was littered with bodies, all dead and broken and bloody. "Why are you here. To kill...Felix?" A woman asked them in a whispering voice. The words made the two children's hair stick up on the back of their neck.
