[b]Chapter Eighteen.[/b] The stone paved intersection was black with soot and smelled of corroded blood. Bjorn, son of Bal, had made his way to the town known as "Gregors freeway." This was the last known sighting of Cain Coldbourne. The man who had been there before him, Ite, and old member of the dojo, died where he stood. No one knew how, besides the fact it was an explosion. Cain walked away, Ite did not. Now, Bjron had to end Cain's control of the Tatakoi plains. It seemed that his presence somehow produced a cold winter over the area as a thin layer of snow set itself on the ground around the burns of the road. However, Cain was not to be seen. Was it possible that he retreated after the fight? Maybe. That being said, why would he? Nothing had stopped him so far. "It was a hell of a fight." Said a voice from behind Bjorn.
