"You guys keep running!"
Lyn's sword vanished and replaced itself with a long, basic looking glaive. She teleported right in front of the exo's and swung the glaive around in wide arcs, attempting to distract the exo's so the others could leave. She aimed for their weapons, arms, and legs to mess with their aim as she did acrobatic jumps and rolls to remain a moving target.

[spoiler]RED ZONE[/spoiler] The exo's attempted to avoid the slashes as the group continued to run. They made their way do the fence as the soldiers fired at Lyn. A shot cut past her ankle. "LYN!" Henry yelled as he started to help people over the fence. He suppressed fire on the guard towers to take the fire off of her.

Lyn spun the glaive around for another second before she teleported up to every remaining guard and attempted to push them off their tower. She then teleported over the fence, where Henry was and collapsed to the ground in exhaustion, her glaive disappeared. [spoiler]I have no idea if you'll be okay with this.[/spoiler]

The guards didn't see this coming, and all began to fall to the ground as Lyn fell in front of Henry. "God damnit!" Henry cursed as he grabbed her. "Come on Lyn! We aren't out of this yet! GERALT! COVER ME!" He yelled as Geralt stood in front of the fence. Henry lifted Lyn up and put her arm around his shoulder. Geralt fired on the exo's, and they ran around to avoid his gunfire. The prisoners had almost made their way over the fence by now. "I need you to walk with me, Lyn! Can you walk?" He asked her.

Lyn was hardly capable of planting her feet under her to stand and her voice was really quiet and weak. "Yeah...." She tried to take a step with Henry's help.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/23/2017 11:20:31 PM"Okay! We just need to get over be fence!" He told her. "Can you climb?" He asked her now. The fence was fifteen feet tall just by eyeballing it. "She better!" Geralt yelled as he fired on the exo's and held them back.

"C-Can you just push me a little?" Lyn grabbed onto the fence and started to shake as her limbs barely held her up.

Henry climbed up beside her and looked at her. "Better idea Lyn. Just grab onto my shoulders alright?" He told her. "I can take you to the top but we have to hurry!" "NO SHIT." Geralt yelled now as he continued to suppress the soldiers.

Lyn grabbed onto his shoulders with no hesitation. "O-Okay....Lets go."

Henry let our a breath as she did so. "Good. Alright. Let's move." He said as he breathed in heavily. He began to climb slowly, but the process was straining. Geralt stood up and fired on the exo's, but he let out a cry as a bullet hit him in the shoulder. "Geralt?!" Henry asked. "I'm fine damnit! Get over that fence!" Henry continued to climb, and climb and climb. He reached the top, his face covered in sweat, and he brought his leg over it and flipped to the other side. "Okay! I'm gunna drop now Lyn!" Henry told her. Though it was a fifteen foot drop...

Lyn just let go instead and rolled when she hit the ground on the other side. "Ow..." She slowly stood back up.

Henry landed on his feet with his knees bent and his hand down. He stood up straight. "Well, that's one way of doing it." He said as he turned to Geralt. "GERALT! GET THE HELL OUT OF-" Then, a burst of bullets shot at Geralt and a spray of blood came from his skull. He went limp as he fell on the fence, dead. "NO!" Henry yelled. He seemed frozen in place as the Exo's began to run towards the fence.

Lyn then pulled on the back of Henry's collar to get him back to reality. "We've got to go, Henry! Come on!"

"Ya...ya I got it." He said as he turned to her. "Are you okay?! Can you walk?"

"I can limp....Come on." Lyn slowly began to half jog half limp away.

"Ya, no. Hold on to me." Henry said as he quickly caught up to her. The area they were in was massive, flat and barren. "There's a drop off half a mile from here! We need to get there before we're caught!"

"Then I'll run. I can-Ugh!-deal with pain." Lyn was in obvious pain as she started to break into a run.

"Lyn! Just...okay whatever we're doing this!" Henry said suddenly as he swept Lyn off her feet and carried her in his arms. He began to sprint as he carried her.

"Hey, I can run!" She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself tightly against his body to help him carry her.

"Ya? Can you run without snapping your ankles?! Don't know what happened after you did your insane teleport death attack, but clearly that should be the LAST thing you do before a fight ends!" He told her. Lyn saw a car ahead. Though it blended in with the environment and almost looked mirage like. "There it is!" He told her. But then, Lyn heard something behind them. As she turned her head she saw the exo's running after the two, guns blazing. "Oh crap!" Henry let out as he ran faster, his face red and tired.

"You won't make it like this...." She looked back at the exos, then the car, then up at Henry. "Cordy is gonna kill me if this doesn't..." Henry suddenly found himself only a few meters away from the car with an unconscious Lyn in his arms.

The car was a dessert jeep. But Lyn couldn't see that as she faded into unconsciousness. All she heard was a mumbled "Lyn?! Lyn!" As she blacked out. [spoiler]End of chapter fourteen[/spoiler]
