"Right, of course young one." He agreed. "Now. I suppose I should start at the beginning." The old man cleared his throat before he spoke.
"A single man walked up to Ragnarok. That's what I heard. He told everyone that they could join him, or die. Naturally, he was laughed at. But then, he summoned the dead from the ocean. He had an army behind him in moments. Many celtics the joined the bastard. It took him a night to claim Ragnarok as his own. We lost all contact then.
THEN, his armies went down to Dagul, the middle isle. The same thing happened there. Then finally the armies of undead arrived on Shrak. They killed our Jarl and replaced him with a terrible beast. Now, they flood the streets of the City of Shrak. That includes access to the docks."

"Felix Coldbourne, I presume." Arianna muttered, before speaking up. "It's a grab for power, I suppose. Now with an armada of undead at his side...it's both an attempt of intimidation and show of force, alongside leading the traitorous Celtics. Is the Jarl of Ragnarok among him, or dead? Knowing him, he probably chose the former.."

"Not sure." The man said. "We lost all contact. Our forces have dwindled, but I might have an idea on how to release the dead from this place..."

"Then please, explain. We need to know fast, else this'll escalate into something worse than it already is..."

"Well. It seems that the storm is the most intense over Garik's palace. In the city of Shrak. That also happens to be where the sorcerers beast has made its den. If you go there and kill the beast...it may pacify the island. It's a gamble, but it's something."

"Then I suppose we'll have to use stealth to infiltrate the actual palace and extinguish this...creature. Any assistance with that?"

"No...I'm afraid not. You will have to make your way through the city. There are two gates. The east and west. The city Is right on the coastline, so the docks make up the north west portion of the city. You'll have to fight your way through. Though I suppose the two of you could find a way to reach the palace without the dead finding you eh?"

"That was the plan...cutting through their forces would be utter suicide though." "How do these undead identify each other? Scent? Appearance?" Isaac piped in, formulating an idea...

"It could work, ya. Can't help but feel like I've seen this happen before.... Ah, well. It's a solid plan. Unless it rains o'course. It's been raining quite a little bit. You also have the issue of killing one of the dead undetected." The old man rambled a bit. Though the points he made to the kids were enough to maybe shake the foundation of the plan.

"And none of us have silenced weaponry. And I don't think that we'd take the chance of "stealthily" killing a zombie, so we'd most likely piss off the horde. So that's a no, for now." Arianna sighed, as Isaac merely shrugged. "It was an idea! So...when should we get going?"

"That you should young ones. But be careful. This...Felix...I suspect he's more than meets the eye." The old man said as he gestured to the door. "Head northwest and you'll arrive at the city in a few minutes."

"Very well. Thank you." And just like that, Arianna and Isaac set off upon their journey. At least, until they saw the castle.

The woods were dark, but didn't go on for long. Eventually, they saw the smaller palace ahead. It towered over the city, however. And the two saw the roofs of the homes jutting over the wall they had. The city was built on a flatland, and they saw that the flatness dipped to the shore northwest of it. They were told there were gates on the left and right sides. The castle seemed to be north west. So, using that logic, it would be faster to get there using the west gate. But, the east gate could also be less protected. Felix likely thought of everything after all.

And upon the command of Pants himself, Arianna rammed her nodachi into her solar plexus, as Isaac suddenly screamed in terror. The young woman fell to her knees, blood gushing from her mouth as she fell to her side, her spine split in two as her younger brother simply sobbed, in despair and confusion... But seriously. Hue hue. ------------------------ "I'm not running through the west side with your fatass, Isaac. We'll head east, try to stealth through. Understand?" Arianna looked over at Isaac, who sighed and nodded nervously. "Then let's go," Arianna began to survey the eastern wall, checking for guards, defenses, positions...everything that she could, least by aiming down the sights of her rifle.

She heard noises of what sounded like hundreds of people from behind the wall. As she approached the east gate, she saw the deadly looking creatures limping around. The gate entrance was on her left now, and up ahead. But the wall was curved moving away from her, so the dead could not spot her. Then, she noticed the wall was actually made of stones. It wasn't a paved material. She could actually well...scale it.

It was steady, and the wall was only so high. He was able to make his way to the top easy enough, and now he had the high ground. The dead continued to roam around aimlessly, with no goal in mind.

As Isaac reached the top, he calmly waved for Arianna to follow, as she merely nodded and went up the wall as well. As both the brother and sister had reached the same position, they looked for a pathway through, either through the wall walk that they were upon or through the main eastern pathway.

The wall had a walkway all across it. Ahead of them, it stretched on for a almost a mile until it reached the docks. There was a single boat, and hundreds of the necromatic beings. Behind them, the wall went back west and around the city and behind the palace. Until it reached the docks as well. The palace had a single tower with a triangular roof. Otherwise it was just a square building. It almost looked church like. That being said the tower was square and tall, and had windows at the top. The wall would take them close enough to the castle to sneak in. As long as they were not seen that is

Arianna silently motioned for Isaac to follow, as both of them began to silently traverse the wall's pathway. Arianna was entirely silent, although she was more seeable than Isaac - and Isaac was slightly louder, but he was hidden by the stone railing of the way. It was...conflicting.
