"Not a damn thing. I expected to hear a helicopter or something but nothing. It's like they aren't even posted up."

"I don't like it." Falk said immediately. "We should've seen something. The empire is all over the mountains. It's their base of operations for crying out loud!"

"It could be shrouded in magic, wouldn't surprise me. I thought I sensed something but I wasn't to sure."

"They could be. Maybe. They could have some tech that... Hold on." Falk interrupted himself. Suddenly, as Zane drove up a hill, he saw a roadblock of Coldbourne forces. "Brake! Now!" Falk yelled.

He quickly slammed on the brake, which caused the two to jolt forward. The car came to a stop and he turned the engine off and hopped out, and got his blade out from the back seat. "Or maybe they just moved further up...."

Falk also got out of the vehicle quickly and stepped forward. There were a dozen men positioned behind the vehicles. All of them had assault rifles or pistols, and were dressed for the warm weather. "Stop right there!" One of them demanded. "Oh don't worry." Falk told them. "We are definitely stopped."

"Put down your weapons and get on your knees! You only have one warning!" The man said to them. Falk looked to Zane, and grinned. And with that look Zane knew. They weren't going to put down their weapons.

Falk covered his eyes as the flare shot up and blinded the soldiers. Then, he reached into both sides of his coat and pulled out his now signature 1911's and fired at the soldiers. One head shot after the other. One, two, three, four. He was systematic in his placement as he downed half the soldiers and ran back to the jeep and opened the passenger door, and used it as cover. The remaining soldiers took cover behind the jeeps and fired blindly around.

A Semtex formed in Zane's other hand and he threw it at the soldiers taking cover. It began to blink rapidly, then it detonated and destroyed the cover.

The white jeeps were sent flying around, the first row of them that is. One of the jeeps did a black flip then crashed into the mountain on their right. While the other spun around and crashed into the left. There were other jeeps, but it was cleared now. Also, everyone was now dead. "They couldn't have though that they REALLY stood a chance, right?" Falk asked Zane with a grin.

Zane chuckled and holstered his .44, them brushed the dust off his hands. "Hey, every fools got a dream."

"Good point. Now c'mon, we gotta dig up some of these car keys and move these things out of the way." Falk told Zane as he approached one of the newly made corpses. There were six cars there. There were the two that were blown out of the way. Two behind those ones that were pushed just barely out of the way for a person to pass, then the third row which went unscathed.

"Why not use more explosives to move them? You know I've got plenty...." To demonstrate this, multiple types of explosives formed in his hands.

"You know..." Falk started. "I like the way you think, Zane. Let's-" Suddenly, one of the jeeps, the one on the far right in the back, revved it's engine. "Oh shoot fire at it!" Falk yelled as he drew his gun. The jeep quickly turned out of the way and began to speed down the road as Falk fired at it. The jeep drove down hill, so he couldn't get a shot quickly after it left. "BLOW IT UP ZANE!" Falk yelled as he ran to the Range Rover. "We can't let him get away!!!"

He went at an incredibly fast speed as the landscape around them moved past the vehicle. They went down the mountain road, where it seemed to wind and turn. Falk turned the car smoothly around the turns of the steep mountain, and Zane could see the enemy jeep maybe half a mile ahead on a winding road.

The sniper round looked like it hit the jeep, but it didn't stop it. It turned around the mountain and it was gone from view. Falk continued to speed down the winding path. "HOLD ON ZANE! I HAVE AN IDEA!" Falk yelled up. "WE NEED HIM ALIVE!"

"Alright, but you're plan better be good!" The sniper rifle vanished as he leaned down on the car, the wind whipping his hair.

"Well, 'Good' is subjective..." Falk said as he continued to wind down the path. The steep mountain side got less steep as they turned around the mountain where the road became straight and hilly. It was in between two mountains, and the jeep was dead ahead.

"Alright Falk, what's the plan here?!"

"WELL. It involves you using that fancy sniper I didn't know you had and using it to shoot that guys tire!" Falk yelled as he sped up and gained on the jeep.
