[b]Chapter Two[/b] Alex escorted Zane through the party crowd and past the throne. From there, the two went to the back wall where there were a series of doors at the back. Alex opened the middle door and walked through, where him and Zane started up a spiral stair case. If was warmly lit, and the steps were made of an oak that let off a nostalgic musty smell and produced a [i]Thud[/i] with every step. [spoiler]for Zane [/spoiler]
