[i]A young girl slowly saunters into the castle with a look of curiosity and wonder. She twirls around with a small smile and laughs lightly.[/i]
"It's so beautiful out here...."

After a few minutes of admiring the view and observing the architecture, she finally makes it to the door to the throne room and knocks gently. She screams internally from being unsure of what to do. [/i]
[u]Do I say hi? Do I introduce myself? What was I trained to do? What would my master do? What would Voorvader do?....I can't just stand here! Say something![/u]

When she finally speaks up she doesn't sound very confident.[/i]
"H-Hello?"

After a moment, the door crept open. On the other side was a tall pale skinned man with white snowy hair. He wore a white hide coat with a grey wolf pelt around his neck. There was a massive blade on his back and a pistol on his side. He measured out the woman in front of him before replying jokingly, "who's there?"

[i]She yelps a little and falls back on her *ss...hard. She was clearly taken by surprise and as her face reddens it's clear she's embarrassed. The girl quickly stands up and brushes herself off with a nervous smile and laugh.[/i] "Hehehe....I-I'm..." [i]She clears her throat.[/i] "My name is Lyn. Are you Mr. Deity, sir?"

"Ya, but it's Alex Coldbourne now." He held out his hand to shake her hand.

[i]Lyn smiles and breathes a little easier as she shakes the hand.[/i] "Alright, Alex Coldbourne. I was told to come here. So, may I ask why? Please tell me it's something cool."

"Oh, it is." He said. He let go of Lynn's hand and walked inside, gesturing for her to follow. As she did, she saw the old frozen architecture of the palace. "See, I'm planning to turn THIS place into a full functioning operation! What will this operation do you ask? Well I'll tell you! The goal is to protect every man woman and child on Tatakai from those who would do them harm! But...I'm gunna need some help if I wanna do that."

[i]Lyn follows closely behind and looks around in awe as she does so.[/i] "Woah, this place is cool. So, how does this operation work? And am I on Tatakai now? Is that the region? Continent? Planet? Solar system?...I honestly have no idea where I am."

"Whoa whoa whoa! Hold up! What do you mean you have no idea where you are?! How did you get here?!" He asked as he turned to her.

[i]Lyn nervously laughs and shrugs as her face gets red again.[/i] "Oh...you know...mmmmmagic?" [i]It isn't that hard to tell she's not telling the full truth.[/i]

Alex raised his eyebrow at the blatant lie. "What, on your unicorn as well?"

[i]Lyn doesn't hesitate and keeps nodding with that guilty smile.[/i] "Yeah, totally!"

[i]"You've got to be kidding Mr with this!"[/i] Alex thought to himself. "And he sent you here because you have to find the secrets of the lost ark, right?"

"And it's not like you DIDN'T do any of that! Because who would lie about something so crazy it sounds like it's made up?!"

[i]Lyn's smile waivers.[/i] "Th-That sounds fake?...I never could lie." [i]She sighs and curses herself under her breath.[/i] "You no good...incapable..."

Alex couldn't help but grin at the Teens distress. He decided to end her little bit of torture. "Okay. Seriously. How did you get here?" He asked gently.

[i]Lyn sighs and her eyes don't leave the ground as she shuffles her feet.[/i] "There was a flash and suddenly I was falling out of the sky...I landed on my face." [i]She laughs nervously.[/i] "There's not a mark is there?"

"No. You're good. Sounds like you got quite the mystery to solve! In the meantime I'm willing to give you something to do!"

[i]Lyn sighs in relief and smiles at Alex.[/i] "Great! The whole protecting Tatatakati....What is this place?"

"This is Tatakai! One of the most chaotic worlds in the galaxy! And we're gunna protect it!"

"Yeah!" [i]She pumps one of her fists into the air enthusiastically.[/i] "....Where do I start?"

"Well I'll tell you! Got some info about a possible spot in the Gellidius dessert that's rich with diamonds. We make our way there, find those diamonds and claim the spot as our own. Pretty simple."

"....That doesn't sound like we're saving anyone or keeping any kind of peace. That just sounds like an errand for money."
