S2 Setting Up Shop
After being recovered from his crash site near Dojoville, Rafael rested for hours along with his son.
Looking through out the small room he is in now, Rafael beams with satisfaction. After hours of work, he has reconstructed a laboratory. Along the walls various copied versions of trophies and other peculiar items can he seen. Each and every one of them are proud of him. On a nightstand next to his bed rests a photo frame, it is of his fiance, Angie stahding next to him. Rafael sits on the bed, staring at the photo. He begins to cry as all of his memories with her flash through his head.
Seeing his father like this, Derix feels bad, so he walks over, climbs onto the bed, and embraces his mourning father.
For an hour, the two sit there. Until Rafael finally calms himself down. He then decided to get up, and climbs the latter and emerges from the trap door, closing and locking it hegind him before it disappears. Looking around, it reveals he's in the middle of Dojoville.

"Oh sorry." He bumped right into Royal, who had a shopping bag in his right hand
-
"No no, it was my fault. I emerged from that without even checking where it was." Rafael checks if hedropped anything, luckily, there wasnt all that much
-
"Where did you even come from? You just came out of the ground."
-
"A little spell I created. When I need them, or in random areas a trap door can appear. It leads to a home I have set up in a pocket dimension. Don't worry about it being a security issue though, that's all that's in there."
-
"Not a bad idea. I did something similar, but I had a set portal in my dojo apartment."
-
"I learned not to have those kind of things set. Considering you likely saw beneath my skin, you saw why I took that lesson very seriously." A sort of.. Shadow passes by which grabs Rafael's attention, but then he refocuses it.
-
"I felt it pretty secure, since it's in the dojo. In my apartment. Very fortified."
-
"Good point. But you can never be too careful. It nearly cost both me and my mother's lives and left me being over 90% synthetic."
-
"90%. Dear dear I didn't realize that at first."
-
"Nobody does. Mostly because there's only certain sections of my skin that are organic. And most of my organs are enhanced to avoid human disease and faults. Even synthetic blood. Though, mosy of it really only works due to the high amounts of dark abd light magic mixed into my body."
-
"Hmm. I mean I saw the wires, but I thought it was just the arm at first."
-
"Ah, those. They nequire replacement anyway. Almost three years old now. I needed to do that quite a bit when I was younger to compensate for my growing body, or at least, the organic areas at least."
-
"You've had this for a while? How long If I may ask?"
-
"Ever since my teenage years. Around twelve I believe. It certainly has been a long time since then. And a lot of exploration of the dimensions. I'd even found dimensions that seemed to at least slightly mirror fictional stories I've heard before."
-
"King Arthur? No, he exists in this dimension, or rather existed. Past tense."
-
"Things such as books. Or movies. Basically almost any type you can think of. But were any exactly like described in that fiction? No. Funnily enough my fiance came from a dimension where there was a version of myself but dead."
-
"Where you married in that dimension?"
-
Edited by Seven: 1/28/2017 10:35:47 PM"No. That version of myself was just her boyfriend of around a year. Before being murdered by my fiance's father. I found this out because the two of us had this weird link. We often shared dreams."
-
"Hm.. So her father killed that version of you?"
-
"Yep. Try wrapping your head around that one. Then something even weirder happened when we woke up. Some sort of energy was flowing into me. My only guess is that it was that version of me's essence. But, I'll never know. Because I did get all of his memories after."
-
"His Essence? That is rather odd, don't you think?
-
"Yes I did. But at the time I had more.. Pressing matters to attend to."
-
"Ah of course. That makes sense I suppose."
-
"My past would come back and bite me in the end a large amount of the time. Especially when it came to those dimensions I found that were simular to fictional stories."
-
"Hmm... I remember a dimension that I once visited. It was similar to The Matrix, If you watched that."
