The soldier known as Flatline looks up at the ship then pulls out his rifle to get a better look from his scope.
"The hell is it?"
Seeming as calm as ever as he looks over the ship for fleet, tracking numbers, anything he could use to identify it.

Most of the hull had been broken apart. However, there was half an emblem on the starboard side of the ship. It looked like two smgs crossed from what you could tell, although it could be a variety of other things due to the interference of the smoke and the long scratches along the hull.

"Hmm, with a logo like that I'd guess this isn't a ship full of joy and sunshine." He looks over to see who told him to run. "Hey, you know them?"
-
"Yes..." The figure says before his eyes go blank.
-
"Hmm, hey snap out of it what can you tell me about them?"
-
You suddenly notice the gaping hole in his back. It looks like it was caused by either extreme heat or acid.
Xenomorphs on the loose?
-
No, but I should consider that.
"Ah the hell with it" The soldier runs off to hide out in one of his own smuggling holes guiding a few nearby civilians in with him. "Don't make a noise" He then hacks a security camera on his wrist mounted computer to keep an eye out to see what is happening outside.

The ship continues to burn. A few stray pieces of rubble fall to the earth with a clang. The fire on the ship burns with a dark violet hue in an unearthly blaze. Suddenly, a few ships, much smaller than the crashed one, land nearby.
-
"Alright you stay down here. Not sure what I'm going to do but may as well see what's up." He opens up the hatch and begins to make his way over to the ships making sure to stick to the shadows and keep out of sight. He makes use of a snow covered bush and pokes his scope out from it unsure whether to open fire, or simply observe.
-
A few soldiers hop out of their ships and start searching the crashed one.
-
He keeps to the cover staying out of sight while he watches to see what happens next. His finger on the trigger ready if things turn hostile.
-
The soldiers run out of the ship yelling. The crashed remains of the ship explode again and a swarm of some strange insects funnel out of the wreckage.
-
"Alright, I've seen enough of the mummy not to like this already." He tosses out an EMP grenade seeing if the electrical shock from the explosion would take out a good chunk of the insects.
-
A few of the insects are disintegrated by the powerful electrical current, but the rest fly towards you.
-
"Ah christ" He then pulls out a secondary grenade and hurls it into the air and runs, his physical enhancements letting him move extraordinarily fast as he makes his way out to whatever looks like it will get him some distance between him and the swarm.
-
A few more of the insects drop dead, but they continue to pursue them. You run past the wounded soldier and see the bugs change their target to him instead of you.
-
He takes off the last two EMPS on his belt and a smoke grenade and rushes towards a manhole. On his way he flips on the emergency signal on his wrist mounted computer and broadcasts in hopes someone more equip for this sort of situation was in range. "This is Flatline currently running from what appears to be a swarm of ravenous insects. They were in the ship that was crash landing. Is anyone on coms?"
-
"I'll be there in a moment." Fortis says. Hundreds of ships fly towards the crash site, disintegrating the insects with their large cannons. Fortis lands in front of you. "What happened? Were there any survivors?"
-
He doesn't take a second to jump down the drainage. He then pulls out a map keeping coms on while he makes it over to his hanger from underground. "Can't say for sure. Left a few citizens out in a little hiding place I found and as for the crew of those ships well, there were a few people running up to them before these bugs went lose. Can't say whether any of them made it or not"
-
"Ok, thank you. We will take it from here." Millions of soldiers started earthing the ship. It seemed a bit excessive, but perhaps the ship was more than it seemed.
