A strange voice, like a multi - layered echoing whisper, was heard in the captain's ear. Surprisingly, no one else there seemed to hear. It seemed calm, and yet had a slightly threatening tone on its edge.
"Fight? Seems slightly harsh. I thought someone of your calibre wouldn't lead a suicide mission."
The voice sounded like it knew the captain, but the captain had never heard any voice of the sort.
