He retreated, and though this was frustrating him to no end, he would NOT be bested by someone who lacked the ability to even detect him. as such, he started pressing a few buttons, and fenrir could hear what sounded like a jet, and unfortunately for him, his own barrier made it hard to hear what direction and where it was at

The inferno speeds up, drawn rapidly into the blade of Ragnarok. Fenrir looked to the forest's edge, scanning the trees for any sign of movement. Finding nothing, he started off in the direction in which he had last seen the young man run, listening carefully. As such, his ears caught the sound of the jet engine's, and he turned to find the encroaching vehicle, blue flame trailing from under the armor, giving the impression that it was an armored bonfire.

it was a high-altitude NTR sparrowhawk, and it scanned the area, and finding you, started relaying everything to its owner, and fired twin lasers at you, with HEAT missiles meant for armored targets and even an odd looking missile attached to a purple device

Fenrir spotted the Sparrowhawk, and allowed the lasers to hit him. They pushed him back a bit, but were consumed by his flames, dealing little damage. However, when he heard the missiles firing, he dropped to his knee, concentrating. A pillar of fire formed around him, as well as one on the Sparrowhawk. As the missiles got to where he was, the pillar dissipated, showing he was gone, and they crashed into the earth, destroying yet more forest. The pillar on the ship dissipated as well, just as Fenrir brought his blade down into the ship, unleashing the Yodünfire as he had earlier. The ship ruptured and exploded in the air, and as the debris fell, Fenrir plummeted through it, landing again on the ground and stabbing the earth once more. Now, a wave of flames expanded through the entirety of the forest, burning it away. Fenrir stood, watching as the arena turned to ash.

Alpha had used his own flames to survive the blast, but fenrir would be knocked around as the last missile was an actual slipspace device, and it threw them both around, but fenrir was closer to the blast Alpha struggled to his feet, and panted, his crimson eyes scanning the devastation for him

He saw blurry flames, as the smoke obscured his sense of sight. The flames themselves were bright blue, raging with no intent of stopping. Trees burned away into ash, or were toppled into the flames by their own weight. As he scanned the area, he found nothing living, at least, nothing in the small clearing he had to himself. It was clear, though, that from here on, there'd be no cover in the trees. Suddenly, the flames behind him parted as Fenrir leaped through, bringing down Ragnarok on the young warrior's head.
