Fallen Angel
A beam of light shoots down from the sky outside the Dojo's walls. A figure was in the place of the light once it dispersed, clad in an ancient helmet and a cloak of the colors of the sunset. Blood soaked through the layers of cloth as they stumbled towards the door, slamming into it.
The figure weakly hit the door, trying to get someone's attention before they died of their injuries. Falling unconscious against the door, they hit the ground with blood pooling next to them.
open for opening the damn door
Black ooze lined the rims of their injuries, slowly seeping into the cuts. The ooze seemed to speed up bleeding and slow healing.
-
*They lay the figure on a bed and begin working on him, closing and cleaning his wounds*
-
*she
She simply stayed unconscious through it all. Spookily silent.
-
Well ya didn't emphasize the she
*The wounds eventually close up, all cleaned from the black stuff. The man that picked her up sits next to her, watching*
-
The woman opens her eyes as she woke up, looking around at her surroundings with beautiful yellow eyes. Her eyes were completely yellow, except for the pupil, and looked like glass.
-
Ah, you're awake. *The man sits up, looking right into her eyes* Name's Mortar
-
"Oh...hi." The woman says, a little surprised to see him staring into her eyes. On top of that she was still disoriented and fearful from not too long ago. "...I'm Aani."
-
Well, nice to meet you. *His blazing crimson eyes look her up and down, making sure no other wounds are open* How are you feeling?
-
"I'm feeling okay, I guess."
-
Good, good. *Mortar smiles a little as he stands up, leaning over her slightly*
I see you copying HLD with that.
Quincy sticks his head over the gate. "Oh gosh, that looks bad.." He disappears for a second, then he jumps down from the wall, falling slower for some reason. He carries a small medical bag over to the stranger. "Oh dear...where's all this blood coming from..."
-
There looked to be a large gash in the side of the person's body, about 4 inches in length. There was also a slash in their right leg of a smaller, but just as bad, size. The rim of each of the cuts was thinly layered with a dark goo, slowly seeping into the cuts.
-
He quickly got to work cleaning the wounds, pouring something over it to both A.) stop the bleeding and B.) clean off the blood. He then got a cloth and wiped away the sticky black ooze, before it got into the cuts. Whatever it was, he wasn't going to let it into his patient. He then observed the wounds quickly to see if he needed to stitch them instead of using just bandages and gauze.
-
The cuts were fairly deep, but somehow they looked to be healing so fast once the ooze was removed that it was visible. The person opened then opened their eyes. They were brilliant yellow eyes that resembled glass, glowing slightly. The entire eye, from what Quincy could see, was yellow and glowing, all except the pupil marking the front. The person, on the sight of Quincy suddenly tensed up and their eyes widened out of fear, still a little disoriented and scared from recent events.
-
He saw their fear and tried calming them down. "Hey hey hey, relax." he said quickly. "Im not going to hurt you, you're just outside the dojo gates, you're safe, almost."
-
They slowly relaxed, and let out a slow breath, closing their eyes and quickly falling asleep again. They were obviously tired, very tired.
-
He sighed, glad he/she wasnt dead. He hadnt seen anything distinguishing about the new arrival. He carefully picked them up and nudged the gate with his foot. The gate opened and he walked on in.
-
The figure was sleeping soundly, but woke up unexpectedly. Looking at Quincy the woman spoke in a tired but pretty voice, talking quietly. "Thank you...whoever you are..." She loosely wrapped herself in her large cloak and waited.
-
He took her into an empty section of the medical wing and set her on a cot. "Im Quincy, and no need to thank me, helping people makes me feel...needed. Anyway, what happened to you, if you're up to talking about it."
-
"I...don't wanna talk about it..." She says, simply staring at the ceiling "I'm Aani, by the way."
-
"Well, its nice to meet you Aani. Its fine you don't wanna talk about it. Are you hurt anywhere else?"
-
"I don't think so...I'm just tired." She rubs her eyes and yawns for a moment, sitting up slowly. "So...this is that place Tatakai, right?"
-
He nods. "Yup. You're at the Dojo right now, the medical wing."
