Only A Moment Tatakai, "The Crater" Marcia Rosegold
"The Crater" is my official nickname for the massive hole in the ground that Frisky sorta left behind in Wehb's post. For a link to that, click here!
Sprinting throughout the masses of trees and bush of the forest was a young girl, seeming to have only been eighteen or even nineteen, somewhere around that age. The girl stood at a somewhat short height of five foot six inches tall, her slim legs carrying her to whatever her destination was. She was moving at an impressive pace, which didn't seem too surprising due to her thin body and light weight. Her face was angular and young, complemented with smooth olive skin and high, shallow cheekbones, alongside a relatively small nose. Tufts of boyishly short brown hair hung and covered the most defining part of the woman; a pair of beautiful, bright gold eyes, full of despair and fear. Upon closer inspection, tears were falling from her eyes, as if she had been literally sobbing recently. As for her apparel, the clothing of the woman consisted of a pure white fabric mage robe, which engulfed her entire body in a stylish fashion, and ended at her knees. It was also tinted with a bright red, possibly to add more style to it. A black hood hung out from the neckpiece, flying in the wind as she kept sprinting through the forest. One unique thing that the clothing had was a unique connection to what seemed to have been...magic. Something old, something...powerful. Something much, much older than the Dojo, which many things were. But this...whatever the robe was connected to, it was ancient. The rest of her outfit? Quite simple. White leggings, alongside a pair of dirty red sneakers, clearly worn out and old. The woman bore nothing for weaponry, although she did have a book in her hands. "The Complete Study of Rainbows and Double Rainbows; By Zimara Shodr". A simple note was tapped onto the cover of the large book itself. "To: Emily R. From: Someone who cares for you :)" It seemed rather odd, for a crying girl to be carrying a book that was supposed to be given to "Emily R." by someone that cared for her. And this person that held the book ever so tightly, her thin hands clutching it's hardback surface with as much strength that she could manage? Marcia Rosegold, sister of Emily, Violet, and Jacqui. Hours ago, Marcia had received terrible news. That her sister had been murdered, decapitated by some...Názi. She couldn't believe it. No, she didn't believe it. Emily would've put up a fight, it...it didn't add up...she would've beaten him...right? Suddenly, Marcia reached the end of the forest, and yelled out as she suddenly slid across the ground, stopping directly on the edge of the trees. For if she had slid any further, she would've plummeted into a chasm that spanned for almost a mile. Several feet deep, the land had been literally blown to bits, as if someone had nuked it to hell. After a moment of staring at the emptiness that remained, Marcia realized something. She wouldn't have even given her sister, Emily, a proper burial. Something she deserved. Something she needed, in her death. For being a loving, caring individual that Marcia had known for all her life. For being a much needed friend, in times of trouble. The pure memory of Emily brought back the truly disturbing news spoken by the tall man, followed by the book about rainbows being dropped to the dirt suddenly, as Marcia silently fell to her knees. She couldn't do anything. She couldn't bring Emily back, or find whoever did this, or..anything. She was helpless, alone, and..furious. More furious than she had ever been, to be exact. For at this point, Marcia simply didn't care anymore. A scream of nothing but pure anger escaped Marcia's mouth as she looked up at the blue sky, two orbs of deep blue energy suddenly forming within her hands as she suddenly rose up from the ground. Out of her fury, she got up almost instantly, just to scream incoherently and begin chucking the orbs of energy, particularly at the surrounding trees that hung over her. As she reeled back and threw each arcane ball, the orbs crashed and slammed through each tree it hit, tearing and incinerating wood and bark in nearly an instant. The orbs turned into energy bombs, and the energy bombs turned into literal beams of deep blue energy pulled from the arcane itself. Marcia didn't even stop to think about how she was capable of pulling all of this off in rapid succession, for she would usually be ripped apart or incinerated by the pure energy and force she was applying at the moment. Every second was a new beam aimed at a tree, and the next was another bomb that decimated the earth. Minutes later, Marcia had decimated the surrounding earth in her fury, and only fell to her knees in exhaustion. After a moment, she looked up and around her, her golden eyes staring at the destruction she had caused in her madness. It was nothing but pure destruction that surrounded the young girl. Thick ash and blue particles floated into the air and over Marcia, covering the bright blue sky and clouding it away from her view. After a moment, Marcia closed her eyes as if ace was trying to concentrate herself in her madness. Then, she witnessed it. Marcia didn't even know what she saw. But what she peered into..it was something else. A vast ocean of bright blue energy, a realm of nothing but arcane power. Truly beautiful, yet so disorganized and wild. The arcane realm itself, what Marcia had studied for all of her li- "FÜCK!! AGH!! MY EYES!!" The girl suddenly reeled back as the vision ended as quickly as it had begun, screams beginning to escape her throat as her own eyes began frying and cooking on the spot from the exposure to the depths of the arcane. Eventually, Marcia stopped her screaming, and began shaking profusely. And for once, she regained focus and realized what she far done. Her sudden escalation in power had resulted in her using her magical abilities to the maximum, granting her the literal ability to peer into the arcane realm itself. Yet, at a truly terrible cost. For Marcia's eyes were no longer the bright, beautiful gold that they once were, but instead a deep, magnificent blue, the entirety of her eyes clouded by a spectrum of arcane. In short...Marcia had gone blind. The woman slowly, but steadily, rose up from the earth. And began making her way back to the Dojo. (Open. Just act like you're in the forest, or at the Dojo whenever she gets there, lol.)

Marcia herself couldn't exactly see her surroundings, but she felt the breeze and the wind rush past her. She felt as if she was at peace, alongside Quincy in a rather nice place to be. "This is cozy..I can remember this. I think.."

"It's...wonderful.." Marcia sounded literally amazed, as she began looking for a flat piece of land - which she eventually found. A clear spot, within the beautiful area. Something she felt with her hands and feet. The perfect spot.

"...I guess. Is there anything around her that I can perhaps enchant with magic? Just so I can..remember this. Be drawn to this."

"Yes...Of course.." Marcia calmly took the flower, embracing it lovingly, as if it's safety was the only thing that mattered to her. The petals suddenly bloomed to the maximum, become a deep beautiful blue as dark blue specks of light rose from it.

"...T-Thanks. Now...I guess.." Marcja began to slowly lean down to the earth, grabbing a particularly large stone and placing it upon the earth. She then placed the flower right on top of it. A tear fell from her right eye silently, as she only stared at the makeshift grave. "...It could be better..B-But I still think she'd like it.. Thank you for...for showing me this place.."

"Y-Yeah. Okay.." Marcia fell quiet after a bit, only staring at the dark blue flower that illuminated the area. She would probably stay there for hours, if she could..

"...W-Wha?" Marcia was literally drawn to the closer and it's magical presence. She wanted it...she wanted more. It reminded her both of Emily, and what she could strive to be...which was simply more.

This time, Marcia snapped out of it for good, although a small outburst suddenly escaped her throat and mouth as she spoke with a louder tone than before. "I felt it. The power, the strength, the...the..." Marcia then remembered that Quincy was present, and that he had no idea about what she was doing. "...O-Oh. Sorry, Quincy. I...I get these feelings sometimes. Especially now. As if I crave power or...something of the sort."
