JJ quickly takes advantage of Tesuto's current position, and fires two small rockets without assuming a steadying position. They may be somewhat inaccurate thanks to the fashion in which they were fired, but they still can be devastating at the close range they found themselves in. Because JJ had fired them in such a way, his torso had to contort in order to accommodate the force, as well as taking a few steps back after firing. It'll take a couple of seconds for him to accurately fire his shotgun again.
