[i]Alyssa blushed crimson red at Charlie calling her "babe", but shook her head no. She smiled slightly, lifting her chin to kiss Charlie lightly on his forehead.[/i] "Sorry, can't let that happen," [i]She murmured, staring ahead with sad eyes, yet a happy smile.[/i]

[i]Charlie brought his face right up to Alyssa's.[/i] "Why not? It's my coin, honey." [i]He kissed her slowly on the cheek.[/i] "Don't you love me?"

"I love you, but...." [i]Alyssa wasn't sure if she should tell Charlie.[/i] "I'm scared for what would happen if you touched it...." [i]She shivered, and it wasn't because of the temperature.[/i]

[i]He slowly brush his hand down her cheek.[/i] "What could happen if I touched the coin? My hand smells like metal? Just hand it over..." [i]Charlie whispers in her ear in a suggestive tone.[/i] "...and I'll pay you back anyway you like, sugar."

"N-no, I-I just–" [i]Alyssa blushed furiously, pushing herself away from Charlie and backing away a little.[/i] "The coin... could wipe your memory for good...." [i]Alyssa somehow blushed more, averting her gaze.[/i]

[i]Charlie walked towards Alyssa and grabbed her by the shoulders. He looked into her eyes, searching for something. His eyes turned back to his normal brown and he had a confused look on his face.[/i] "How did we get into this position? I was just about to ask you a question and then poof we're like this. Did I miss something?"

"I-wh-what?" [i]Alyssa blinked, her mouth slightly open.[/i] "Charlie? Are you... alright?" [i]Her eyes were full of confusion, expression matching.[/i]

"Why wouldn't I be? I've got you don't I?" [i]Charlie chuckled.[/i]

"Heh.. yeah...." [i]Alyssa said, although there was something in her eyes, something like uncertainty.[/i]

[i]Charlie sighed and backed away.[/i] "I understand what you're feeling. I'm okay with breaking up if you really don't feel comfortable with someone like me."

"I-it's not-I just...." [i]Alyssa didn't seem to know what to say; she was extremely new to relationships altogether, and has most definitely never been through a break-up.[/i] "I-it just feels a little rushed... ya know?"

[i]Charlie nods.[/i] "It does, doesn't it? Just keep that coin of mine safe, will ya? I shouldn't be around it let alone touch it unless it's an emergency."

"I... alright...." [i]Alyssa's expression was sad, yet somewhere she felt that it was the right decision.[/i]

[i]Charlie smiles.[/i] "Hey, we're still friends, Miss Alyssa. Turn that frown upside down and lets have some fun later, eh?"
