Nice read.
Never took the time to research the grimoire quite so much. But here's my 2 pennies anyhow
2 years into a 10 year game. We may only have 20% of the whole story yet. And this thing being so damn confusing at first may have been the plan all along.
Or am I just really hoping it's a bit more organized than it seems...?

Nah they just seem like they are building off of what they have and making it up as they go along, I just hope they don't take a huge turn somewhere in the game like Kingdom hearts did and confuse the hell out of you. I don't think anyone needs an "omg what a mind fck" moment where you end up being the traveler from the future or some nonsense I just need some good stable straightforward story telling
