I haven't seen them indicate there is any hope for dedicated servers, even with Destiny 2, although I suppose it's possible. Destiny for me at least appears to be the lowest common denominator in terms of how things are implemented. If it's going to cost them money, it probably isn't going to happen. I mean, it took 5ish months to fix the heavy ammo bug and they countered that with essentially saying coding is hard. The community took that hook and line. Sad really.
