It's a MMO, people's friends list jumped from 30 to 500 because of all the people they meet here.
It's like all other MMOs, they meet people and take on a PvE challenge together for better gear. New gear comes out all the time.
It's not like Call of Duty were you are just PvP and fighting other random people.
