My PSN account was hacked and now i'm trying to unlink all third party links from the account. I've moved on and I really could careless about my progress I just wanna make sure my personal information on my bungie account doesn't get stolen or something as I can always just go play it on Steam.
Even if I could just unlink my EPIC and Steam that would be fine but I don't want them to have access to my personal stuff.

4 RepliesHello there, Unfortunately, there is no way to unlink platforms from your Bungie profile. Adding to that, your characters are bound to your PSN, so disabling cross save would cause them to only be available on PlayStation. Your best bet would be to work with Sony to recover access to that account.

As far as Bungie are concerned, as a matter of policy they do not unlink any accounts under any circumstances. You might be able to levy local laws such as GDPR in EU/UK to try and force their hand, but from what I've seen on here over the years - nothing like that has had any success.

In addition to what the others have stated, having your account linked to Bungie.net doesn't have any personal non-public information unless you choose to add it (such as a contact email for Bungie notifications). You can change your Bungie contact email in your settings. Also, having other accounts linked to your Bungie.net profile only allows someone access to your Bungie.net profile and characters as part of Cross-Save. It does not grant them access to use those accounts on other websites outside of Bungie's set of websites. The only downside is, as mentioned, if Cross-Save is enabled, then your game progress and save data should be considered compromised, as anyone with access can play those characters, delete those characters, get rid of your equipment and the like, and Bungie won't forcefully remove the account. So, as TuxyDoh mentioned, your best bet is to work with Sony to recover the account. Good luck, Guardian!
