Storyline closure
Now that the final update ever is about to be released, how confident are we that all of the hanging story threads will be resolved? The most recent 2 expansions over the past year set up The Nine and Dredgen Bale to potentially be big bads for years to come. After all, this was supposed to be the beginning of a multi-year saga of the Nine.
Also, Xivu Arath is still the leader of evil Hive and Taken, and Maya has become the leader of the Vex. They are still plotting our demise in the background. Are we possibly going to end Destiny on an unresolved cliffhanger if a third game is never released?
How realistic is it to expect that at least one of those will be resolved in this final content drop? Please find a way to conclude Destiny's 12 years of storylines in a satisfying fashion. It would be very respectful of all players, new and old, to finally get to see the conclusion of the game we loved so much.

Don't forget Savathun's mad at us for getting involved during Heresy. Also, Lume, who wants to go back to Torobatl. I don't see how they'll finish all of the story beats. Hiding some of it in secrets and exploration will be unsatisfying. I didn't enjoy getting the tiny bits of information in the Reclaim activities. Maybe lore books for some of it? Better, but not the same. I think, unfortunately, there's going to be a lot left unresolved.
