Cool cool - the inevitable outcome.

So the writing was on the wall for a while and it's ... good to see the announcement finally made in a ... positive light. It's impossible to deny the length of time the game has been around for. So, kudos to Bungie for that. But one question. Just one. When the game is shifted into a "static" state, as in no new content, what are the odds Bungie will restore what we paid for to us? Seriously. We paid for it. Bungie even acknowledges we "own it". Yet much of the game is inaccessible. Fine. Nothing new will be made. It is what it is. And kudos to you for maintaining it in a playable state. Then again... given some of the games industry related conversations, especially the one that made it to the EU, that's the bare minimum. But what about restoring what people paid for so they can play, again... what they paid for? Things were "vaulted" under the pretense it would come back... well now is the time to bring it back. Because we paid for it. [spoiler]Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate.
