A Farewell Letter

I don't want to introduce myself too much. I'm 23 years old and I've been playing this series since its beta came out in July 2014, first on my uncle's PlayStation 4 and then on the Xbox One my father gave to me has a gift. It's been the game that has watched me grow up, a little corner of happiness for me, for which I am very grateful. One anecdote I have is that my mother accompanied me to pre-order this game when I was only 11 years old, and she always came with me whenever a DLC was released. After so many times accompanying me to the store, she eventually learned the name (I remember she learned it for the launch of House of Wolves). And my mother was never the kind of mother who tells you to stop playing "Pokémon" whether you're playing on a computer, a Nintendo, or an Xbox. Instead my mother was the one who called everything "El Destiny," and to this day she still does, and it always makes me smile. I truly want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, all the people who, without me even realizing it, have helped me experience such wonderful moments. I also want to thank everyone involved in these two wonderful titles, programmers, designers, artists, animators, producers, screenwriters, voice actors... both those who are still with us and those who are no longer in the company. Saying thanks doesn't seem enough, and I truly don't have enough words in my heart to express my gratitude for so many years together. But one last time. Thank you, Bungie, for everything. I hope and wish that everyone has memories as fond as mine. Per Audatia Ad Astra.
