Haven't playing since around Jan; I play on epic games and since having started attempting to play again, every time I attempt to go into a mission through the portal or patrol, I keep getting Currant error codes (failed to connect to server). I've already tried to verify game files, clearing my cashe, restarting my PC, and verifying the game files. Despite trying all of those I still get the currant error. I can log onto the game and use everything from orbit, just can't actually play it's been doing this for ~8 hours at the time I'm writing thing so I doubt its the servers. The only other thing I can think of trying would be to uninstall and reinstall the game, however I want to avoid that as it could take a few hours before it finishes, if it finishes by the end of the day.
If anyone has had similar errors, how was it fixed in those cases encase it helps me.
(Windows 11; Epic games launcher; A7500 NETGEAR wifi adapter; not having this problem on Steam games)

Fixed it; still not sure how (let alone why) but after some issue I seemed to fix my problem. I uninstalled all files pertaining to D2 across my entire PC, including my entire epic games client; and disabled my public firewall which for some reason allowed me to play. After allowing everything pertaining to D2 through my firewall, the currant errors turned into cabbage errors (no connection to can't connect) so something with the destiny server was getting blocked by windows defender firewall.

1 ReplyHi there, Thanks for reaching out and for providing those details. We're sorry to hear that you're repeatedly encountering Currant error codes whenever attempting to launch activities despite already trying several troubleshooting steps. Currant errors are generally related to connection or networking issues. If you haven't done so already, we recommend reviewing our Network Troubleshooting Guide as well as our Advanced Network Troubleshooting Guide, as those steps may help address connectivity issues specific to Destiny2. Since you're using a WIFI adapter, if possible, you may also want to test using a wired connection temporarily to see whether the behavior changes.
