Borderlands and Warframe still going after all these years, Destiny?...Dead!
Title says it all. Unless you are an excellent extraction shooter player those games are not for me in the least! Bungie messed up big time. Going into a niche it cannot compete in. Die hard PVP players may make a go of it but not the majority of the player base. I've still alot to do in Destiny 2 in terms of completing triumphs etc. That I find enjoyable if not a bit tedious in terms of the grind but Destiny has always been grindy! Sony overpaid, Parsons knew it and left while he could get the cash. Too bad but the end of a decade+.

Borderlands is not a live service game and is on its 6th game counting Wonderlands and the Pre-Sequel and if you ask the community, people are not exactly happy with B4. Warframe is in perpetual open beta due to some legal loopholes they have been using for years. Destiny’s model is a weird one since it started as an on disk live service game with expansions to a lite free to play game with expansions. Closest game currently that uses Destiny’s old model is the Division and they have had their issues over the years like the fact the last couple years of content has been legit filler due to extended support(not a bad thing), but that’s also a D3 that is at risk of not coming out due to financials. Everyone will find a new favorite game just like those of us on the older side did the last time something we were into went away.

The whole Warframe vs Destiny debacle was pretty hilarious. In the end, Warframe outlived Destiny, damn 😭
