I doubt these are read anymore but since most portal rewards are tied to power level you could make a weekly destination drop portal gear with small chances of primes on completions of public events lost sectors etc. just grinding catalysts on destinations and crushing around is what destiny is lacking since edge of fate. I do like the portal. But a little incentive to go to the destinations would be great.
