When the Collapse came, some Guardians vanished beyond the edge of the system — into the uncharted expanse known only as the Outer Rim. Out there, without the Tower, without the Traveler’s song, they became something else. Lightbearers without a City. Soldiers without a War. Ghosts without a home. Years later, they returned. Scarred by the cold of dead worlds, carrying weapons forged in the heart of dying stars, and whispering of battles no one on Earth remembers. They call themselves Revenants — those who have crossed the threshold of nothingness and stepped back into the Light. But to their enemies, they are a warning: The farther you run, the more dangerous your return.
