If it weren't for the principles taught to me by the Future War Cult, I wouldn't be who I am today. The core belief system I had adopted shaped my understanding of the universe, and in turn had brought me to make peace with my past. This fatalist fundamentalism made me understand that our future is indeed fated, and has allowed me to come to terms with regrets and personal losses. However, my view of the universe was shattered once I learned of Lakshmi's malfeasance. I questioned the doctrines that I had sworn by... but no longer. Lakshmi had lost her way and forgotten our purpose, and I refuse to allow a false prophet like her to destroy everything we've accomplished as a collective. After all of the progress we've made, after all we've sacrificed, we can't allow one person to take this away from us. We will succeed where Lakshmi failed. We will rebuild from what she left behind.
